Why: Why'd you pick this character?
The Hatbox Ghost is a mysterious character in the ride 'The Haunted Mansion' and that is very interesting to me and makes him a very interesting character I owuld like to explore his character as a result because we do not know much about him. However there is not very much that is known about him and I would like to rectify that. The Hatbox Ghost has the potential to be the most interesting character in the entirety of the Haunted Mansion.
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)

The Hatbox Ghost's hair is white and falls down to his chin. It is stringy and not very tidy, and is mostly hidden by his large top him. What is seen though is unkempt and generally not pleasant to the eyes.
Facial description/mood/expressions:
The Hatbox Ghost has a skeletal face and look about him. His face is very sunken and is stretched into a permanent, creepy grin. His eyes, which bug out, are surrounded by black circles which emphasize his very large and white eyes. He does not have much of a nose, instead having two black nostils.

The Hatbox Ghost wears fancy clothing and always carries his hatbox, which hides his ghostly head. He wears a cape and a top hat, and carries a motted cane in his other hand.

The Hatbox Ghost is an actual skeleton and looks as such, with a "bony" figure.
Any unique traits (optional):
A skeleton.
Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality:
The Hatbox Ghost was once a very nice man who wanted to find true love in his life. However, he was also easily deceived, like when his wife killed him. After he haunted his wife for very long, the Hatbox Ghost became very bad and vengeful, enjoying haunting any human, not just his wife. THis made him into a very bad ghost, one of the worst in the Haunted Mansion. However, he is also very reclusive, rarely appearing to mortals he does not want to haunt. This is why he has not been seen in the Mansion for many years. He is bored with the mortals that entner the mansion nowadays and wants to find better people to scare. Still he is not a good ghost and his many years of seeking vengenace have made him cold and unreceptive to the lost he once sought.
History:
Little is known about the Hatbox Ghost's history, but he was a groom who was very much in love with the woman of his dreams. However, after their wedding, he had his head chopped off by his wife, and he was very broken up about the matter in the afterlife. To hide the death, his wife buried his body elsewhere and hid his head in his very own hatbox. This would later be reflected onto his ghost. Because he was very in love, his spirit returned to life and haunted his murderous wife, growing very malicious over time out of a need for vengeance. Eventually, his wife died and went to the afterlife, leaving the Hatbox Ghost's spirit alone in the world with nothing to do. Eventually, he heard of a hangout for retired ghosts and went there, finding himself at the Haunted Mansion.
Ambitions:
Haunting humans, haunting his wife, not losing his head!
Strengths & abilities:
Ghost, head can disappear and switch places into his hatbox.
Flaws:
Evil, not alive, cannot go to the afterlife.
Likes:
Being dead, haunting humans.
Dislikes:
Humans, his wife, frowning.
Fears:
Losing his head, going to the afterlife.
Anything to add?:
RP SAMPLE:
Though it appeared recognizable, this was not the Haunted Mansion the Hatbox Ghost knew.
Keeping an eye on the mortals entering the mansion, the Hatbox Ghost sat on a gravestone outside, invisible to the naked eye. He stared, grinning, as people wandered right by him, not even noticing his presence. His hatbox rested beside him on the ground, and his knobbled cane was in his hands, serving as a sort of armrest.
This was... very strange indeed. Mortals were not typically allowed in the mansion so often, not when so many of them were there. It was bizarre to see them entering without any sense of fear about them, as if they were about to have fun in there. The 998 other happy haunts would probably have something else to say about that, but the Hatbox Ghost was content to sit outside and watch the mortals walk by into the mansion, knowing they would be scared once they were inside.
The Hatbox Ghost stood up from the gravestone and took his hatbox in hand. It was time to explore the area, to get a better feeling for where he was. If mortals were allowed into the mansion so easily, perhaps he could find the reason elsewhere. The surroundings were not familiar to him, but that was perhaps because he had been holed up in the mnasion so long he had forgotten what the outside really looked like. As soon as he had stepped out of the vicinity of the mansion, the ghost made himself visible.
Immediately, he heard praises of the 'special effects' of the 'attraction' and this made him very mad. Normally, people were scared by his presence, not amazed. One particular mortal, a muscular man wearing a t-shirt and jean shorts, eyed the Hatbox Ghost warily. It seemed he knew that the ghost was not simply an attraction, that he was truly a ghost.
The Hatbox Ghost vanished, ensuring that the man couldn't see him. He didn't need confrontation right now, he needed answers...
