Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's Lyle, and I wished upon a star from being friends with a magical Sage. My other imaginary friends include ?
Cousin Algernon and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: Cousin Algernon
Age: His body long since has decomposed. As time goes on, he no longer knows.
Species: Human ghost
Birthplace: Long ago, a far time back, Algie was born in his pappy’s shack.
Movie: The Haunted Mansion
Custom title: Cousin Algie was a good ol’ chap. He sang with his friends and ne’er took off his cap.
Why: As an appreciator of good music, barbershop quartets, and all things Disney; Cousin Algernon seemed like a fun character to get to know.
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: It used to be a grey-ish sheen, but now he’s dead, it’s kinda green. He always kept it short and cropped; e’en though his head was always topped.
Facial description/mood/expressions: He has a sort of grimmish smile; he likes to sing all the while. His homely bust is still as stone, but he brings it to life to sing and moan. It takes a lot to bring him down; he doesn’t really like to frown. His friends have very different antics, Algie stays calm, he’s rarely frantic.
Clothing style: He’s always looking very keen: in his suit, cap and ghostly sheen.
Body build: A skinny man, Cousin Algie was. No muscle mass or unseemly fuzz.
Any unique traits (optional): As a ghost, he can move around, unhindered and free. But with his friends and bust is where he’ll usually be.
Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality:
History:
As the years passed, several more deaths would occur near the old abandoned mansion. Cart wheels would mysteriously break, causing those on their carts to fall. People would get lost in the nearby swamps, found days later as already rotting corpses. Eventually, a cemetery was created on the mansion property, saving those who had been left behind the trouble of carting the remains several miles back into town. No one remembered the story of the Gracey mansion anymore, only that hundreds had mysteriously died near it, and that the grounds men of the cemetery swore that those buried there still walked the earth as spirits.
In 1929, the cemetery had long since been abandoned, though accidents still randomly occurred around the mansion grounds and the bodies would be unceremoniously buried in a plot on the cemetery grounds. It was one of these mysterious accidents where a barbershop quintet was on its way to Baton Rouge for Mardi Gras that Cousin Algernon (as he was known in the group) found himself as one of the soon to be 999 haunts of the Gracey mansion. He and the quintet were driving along the road by the mansion, when suddenly the driver lost control of the car and crashed. Though no one knew of the curse still haunting the mansion, those in the car were buried in the cemetery grounds, and fell under the influence of the mansion’s curse. Discovering their newfound ghostliness, Cousin Algernon and his friends decided to inhabit a set of busts on the grounds, and would entertain the other haunts with their harmonies. There they wait to this day, singing along in harmony, though there have been few alive who’ve since heard them, and lived to tell the tale...

RP SAMPLE:
“When the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake, ghosts come out for a singing wake...”
As 994 happy haunts gallivanted around, hardly any noticed the five who haunted a set of marble busts; a barbershop quintet who chose to do little else than sing for the others who were inhabiting the grounds of the Haunted Mansion. As their singing continued, they didn’t notice the new groundskeeper coming from behind them, trying to find the source of the music. The other ghosts vanished, waiting to see what would happen.
“Hello?” the groundskeeper called. “Is someone there?”
“Hellooo...” began Cousin Algernon, and his four compatriots joined in. “Hello, hello, hello, helloo!”
The groundskeeper turned, to find the five singing busts staring at him, with delighted smiles on their faces. His face turned white in horror as the five men launched into a new song. Without warning, the other ghosts haunting the mansion appeared in the groundskeeper’s view. The man’s eyes widened and he ran, screaming, fearing for his life.
The busts looked on as the man ran, and then smiling to themselves, began singing once more.
“Grim, grinning ghosts come out to socialize...”
