The Mexican songwriter narrowly managed to escape from being in trouble that he had caused earlier and ran up the steps with ease, limping only slightly because of his broken tibia bone, as he headed inside of the Mesoamerican pyramid that was similar to the structures he was used to in the Land of the Dead. He was supposed to meet Imelda at a restaurant here as soon as she was done with her deliveries. A figure of two skeletons caused him to pause in his steps briefly, before he continued to hurry around it when he halted again upon catching sight of something familiar. Miguel?! No, upon peering closely, he noticed that it was a figure that only looked like Miguel inside of a display window, with the entire elaborate detail of his living family's ofrenda. At the top of the ofrenda was the familiar picture of Imelda, Coco, and..Héctor placed a hand on the display window with a frown curved on his skeletal face as his large brown orbs gazed at that photo. His photo was still torn from the frame.
It was like a slap in the face. With a sigh and a cynical wry frown, he headed inside and glanced around at the dark scene where shops of skulls and alebrijes were seen. There was music playing closely by the restaurant side. Music always lifted his spirits! He walked passed some people holding instruments, including guitars, and he eyed them longingly before he walked to an opened table and sat down. It wasn't long when he ordered his drink that a plate was suddenly brought in front of him. He blinked in bemusement upon seeing what it was. "Eh? Chorizo..?" He was going to say that he didn't order any chorizo when his face suddenly became deadpan upon realizing what this meant. He pinched the bridge of his nose with a pout, not liking to be made fun of. "HA-HA! Very funny! Okay, okay..yes, very funny.. oye, de quién fue la idea, eh?! (hey, who's idea was this?!)" He asked a waiter with a pout, crossing his arms. He had someone to thank for this! The waiter said that he would investigate and left. While he waited, his anger seemed to pass into one of curiosity when he glanced over to see a sign at the end of the wall with birds that were called The Three Caballeros, and he briefly wondered if there was going to be a performance of them.
(Hope this works for Panchito I dunno! I can edit anything if you have a better idea! xD)
