<<I don't want to put everything here, but the gardens seemed like a good set up, let me know if anything needs changed you think <3>>
Imelda was reminded yet again of both familiar and missed opportunities with Héctor. If he had been given the chance, she was sure what she was a part of now would have occurred, being persuaded to tip-toe out of the house (or hotel room) because the kids were teenagers and could take care of themselves and after all they wouldn't go far.
That last part may not have been so true in Santa Cecilia, but here it was, and when the Resort had a very lovely back garden they could stroll near sunset, but still light enough, and everything.
It reminded Imelda also of sunset picnics when they'd been younger and Héctor was just a goofy kid trying to gain her attention. Who was she kidding?, she pondered as she glanced to him again on the stroll out, he still was!
It had come about as so many of his ideas would, just randomly, or so it seemed. Imelda would believe he'd been pondering it all day if facts seemed to indicate such. Still, Héctor had been trying to figure out the TV in their main room of the suite again, Miguel and Rosa were inside about their own things, maybe practicing, Imelda didn't really know, just that they were secure, and she had been over in the corner lacing a shoe for a customer.
Héctor got frustrated with the TV again, and then that turned to another idea, they should do something!
Or that was the way it all had seemed to go to Imelda. She could hardly argue, again, the kids were fine, her shoe was all but finished and...that pleading look of his had always been hard to ignore, especially when she'd missed it so...
Smiling, she'd set aside her work pretty easily this time and suggested a stroll in the garden. It would be hopefully uncrowded and not that she didn't also enjoy walking through the park grounds with him, like they had been when they'd run into Dash, but, the gardens the Resort came with had also sounded nice.
So here she was, leaning against him as they walked, rather than holding his hand, and taking in just that comforting feeling of being with him more so than she was the garden they walked through. "Santa Cecilia never had anything like this, hmm?", she inquired lightly, smiling up to him, and not to disparage their hometown, but everything was nice in it's own way. Well, other than big cities, Imelda still wasn't sure she'd ever like those and maybe just for the connotation of them being the thing to pull Héctor away in the first place.
