Perhaps Héctor was excited because he never got to be a part of Coco's quinces, so this was his one chance to have at least a small part of Rosa's Quinceañera, even if it was teaching her how to dance! Since they had banned all types of music including dancing in the Rivera family household, Rosa was unable to be brought up with any kind of dancing, unlike Coco was. While Imelda was tending to her shoemaking, he felt that it was up to him to help out with her practicing.. And he knew JUST where to go to get such a dress! At the spa inside the very hotel they stayed in! There were signs everywhere promoting adults to be princesses! It was too easy to borrow one just to demonstrate how to dance in one! Once he even got to the door to greet the front desk lady, he quickly mentioned saying that he was looking for a dress for his wife and then scurried off to the dressing room before the front desk lady had a chance to say a word to indicate that the people on staff for the services were in out to lunch, though the front desk lady figured he could at least look at the dresses while he waited.
"No.." The tall skeleton lowered his eyelids with a disappointed frown upon seeing the Rapunzel dress that he wore over his clothing, finding that it was a bit too thin to lift for a dress when it came to lifting part of the dress to swish it around while dancing, much like Imelda was good at doing. He did think that this was great to run in, much like the Frida Kahlo dress was. Still, he needed a dress that was a bit more fuller in material to pick up and swish around, but flowy.
"Eh..Well.. it's not bad.." Héctor mused with an intriguing smile when he gazed at the Belle dress, admitting to himself how beautiful it looked, before he realized that it required a hoop?! "No, no! How can you dance with this?! It's so heavy! No..descartado.. (discarded from the list)" He needed something.. thick but flowy..and without a hoop! There was no way that he knew how to dance with that! Any girl who could was truly magnificent in performing such a feat! Argh, Imelda's dress was only so perfect for movement.. It was too bad Imelda only had one dress in the closet for the moment, or else he would have just borrowed one of hers... But that would be too easy, wouldn't it?
"Wait..wait.." The skeletal musician was almost hopeful when he tried on the Cinderella dress, but then frowned and pulled it off of him instantly upon noticing how funny it sagged by his slender hips. "No.." Ay cielo! This was harder than it looked! From now on, he was going to defend all the women who ever had to take long to get dressed!
"Wait, wait.. wait....Yes! This is the dress! Yes!" Héctor exclaimed with an enthusiastic grin upon wearing the pink Aurora dress over his clothing and swishing it around as he turned to inspect how it looked from behind, finding that it was thick enough to be lifted around but flowy enough to dance with! He had officially had said Yes to the Dress!
Uy...The Mexican skeleton winced guiltily with a frown of concern down at his hands. Unfortunately, he didn't quite understand how the long sleeves simply cut off in a triangular way at his hands. Perhaps he had torn it while he was putting it on? Glimpsing around, he found some gloves and placed them over his hands with a grin. There, now no one would know he had torn them!
Suddenly, there was a gasp of shock upon turning to find that there was an entire shelf of wigs! "No..!" He uttered in surprise, recalling how many wigs Ceci had, and knowing how this beat hers by a mile! "Oh, the best wig would complete the look!" He remarked gleefully, instantly summoning his inner creative stylist that he had learned from Ceci when he wore the Frida Kahlo wig and accessories with an intrigued smile. "No.. anything but blonde.." He shook his head with a pensive frown as he glimpsed through the many blond wigs that there were. Though, really, when is the next time that he'll get to try to see how he even looks with it? Maybe he looks guapo (handsome) in all types of hair colors. "...Fine, only this one time.." He sighed to himself, though he was more curious about how it would look than whining about it. "Besides, they say they have more fun, eh?" He chuckled with a grin and swapped out his wig and tiny beard for the curly Aurora wig, being attracted to curls naturally because of the way Imelda's looked whenever she unbraided her hair.
The blonde wig didn't look bad. He lightly bounced at the blonde tuft of hair in the front, which covered his forehead. It flowed nice down his shoulders. Just as he peered down at the table of accessories with a reminiscing smile, recalling how much jewelry he had to wear for the Frida Kahlo outfit, then picked up a fan and waved it onto his face in such a mock-feminine way in front of the mirror as it blew his hair a bit, acting like the Mexican blonde celebrity Linda Christian. "Yes, yes.. I, Linda Christian, am happy to sign that autograph now.." He used his high pitched feminine voice that he used with Frida Kahlo to pretend that he was the blonde Mexican celebrity, before he chuckled to himself and promptly put his fan down with a shake of his head. "Okay, okay.. I only came here for the dress!" He reminded himself with a roll of his eyes and a smile, deciding to stop playing around.
Just before he was going to take it off, he suddenly heard a noise at the door alarmed him that he was going to be caught or get into trouble with anyone, causing him to stagger back with a loud gasp. "AHAYYY!" He yelped as he nearly fell back over the table that had all the accessories. Quickly scrambling his hands to grab the fan behind him, he instantly lifted it up to hide his face with the exception of his eyes in efforts to address the person that was trying to come in. "Eheh.. yes, yes..eh.. come innn?" His voice instantly heightened in pitch as he tried to summon the best womanly voice he would do to his ability, smiling nervously behind his fan.
