<<I think this is in the right place, for music stores in Downtown Disney or if that's the old name. And I guess we'll start the tag off with Rosa and Miguel in the shop and then move to Imelda asking Héctor if he'll go on a walk with her to give the kids time to set up the surprise <3>>
Mama Imelda had had the most wonderful idea! Better than Abuelita's about Miguel joining the work shop that time even, as Rosa knew her cousin would readily admit. Given he had little interest in it to begin with.
It was obvious, ever since he had arrived here, that Papa Héctor was stifling under not being able to play guitar on a regular basis. Oh sure, he put a brave face on it, but it bothered him. Rosa felt she and Miguel probably mostly noticed it when either of them were playing, and even if Papa Héctor was insistent on allowing Miguel to keep the skull guitar so important to them both and the whole family.
That time he borrowed a guitar and played with some talking bird friend of Miguel's only proved it more.
Ok, so he wouldn't take that one back, but he had to have something. Unbeknownst to her, though not surprising, Mama Imelda had been working behind the scenes on the problem. Almost literally. She'd been saving. Yet once she felt she had enough to get--not something special enough to top the skull guitar in the first place, a wedding gift from her all those years ago, but something to make due--she knowingly sent Rosa and Miguel to pick it out, knowing Miguel would want the biggest input in that.
So, once again, Rosa found herself staring at a wall of instruments, but this time it was harder and she needed even more input from her primo. She had to match Papa Héctor's style and taste, not just her own...
"It's never gonna stop surprising me how many types they make. Of everything", she commented idly as she scanned, before glancing over to Miguel. "Well...what do you think?"
