Nick Wilde released a long sigh. The red fox was currently on a bus heading to one of the many hotels that he could stay at. He didn't really know about a majority about them, but one of them stood out due to it's name: Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was the only hotel that lied next to the 4th theme park, Animal Kingdom. And for Nick, it was the only one that interested him as a result. He figured that if he wanted to find someone from Zootopia, that most likely they would stay at that place. Hopefully, Judy was there...
The sun was already below the horizon, leaving behind an orange hue as night fell. The fox looked out the window as he spotted a large tree that was lit up for the night. To the left of it, large rocks that were illuminated by a blue hue rose over the treeline. For Nick, while his world had an Animal Kingdom, it was less of a sanctuary for animals, and more of a park that celebrated the culture and history of animal kind. Nick wanted to explore the differences between his world, and this world, but for now, he needed a room.
The bus drove past another intersection, before it drove past a hut. As the bus followed the road, Nick soon spotted the lodge itself. It reminded him of some safari lodge that he seen pictures of, and he assumed that was what the folks who built it were going for. Nick took a deep breath. The bus stopped, and the guests unloaded, with Nick following close behind. He saw some employees by the door, who gave him a surprised, yet knowing look as he walked past them. And as Nick walked through the front doors, his jaw dropped.
The main lobby was huge! It was probably, at least, 6 floors high, with each room having multiple guest rooms. To the left, was the main desk, where Nick could spot guests checking in for the night. In the center, children gathered around a tv as they watched cartoons about a mouse and his friends. Nick's senses were flooded as he caught the sound of music, and the smell of delicious food, one of which interested him the most. And in the far back, a large window allowed a free view of the savanna beyond it, which became shrouded in darkness that came with the night.
Nick took another deep breath to recollect himself, "Alright. First off, need to get a room. Just need to walk up to the front desk, say that I need a room, and just...go to bed." He rolled his eyes, "And hopefully not get kicked out due to having no money..."
