There it was. That bad feeling that Helen felt in her gut that something terrible had happened. It was the same one that she felt when she suspected as much from her husband, but tried so hard to avoid from jumping to that conclusion. It was back again, but this time it was involving her daughter.. and the very fact that something might've happened to her at this time of day was enough to scare her. Honestly, Helen could not be more thankful to actually have a few real friends she could actually trust with her identity here, especially ones like Imelda and Héctor to take care of the kids while she would set off to find Bob and Violet. Although the mother of three left the hotel room after reassuring her two boys calmly that she was just going to go out to see if she could meet with them, there was something in the expressions of the skeletal couple who agreed to help that Helen wanted to avoid analyzing in her mind if she could.
After talking with Edna in the off chance that they were there or if she would know their whereabouts, Elastigirl was left feeling unsatisfied that there still no trace of them, but empowered to go out and find her family, much like she did for her husband in the island. As the superheroine mother slipped into the parks in her supersuit, stretching her arms to swing herself from light pole to light pole in search of any trace of her husband or daughter. There was a moment of dread that took her as she hung on the side of one of the light posts with a worried frown curving down her lips as she let out a breath to calm herself. No. The fact that her close friends haven't seen their whereabouts shouldn't mean anything yet, but it didn't wipe off the worry off of her countenance. What if they were both in trouble? Another breath was drawn. "Easy..Everything's fine.. they're just both out together doing some hero work!...After dinner.. in the dark..without telling anyone..yeah.." Helen tried to speak to herself to calm herself down, but her sardonic thoughts were only revealing her insecurities all the more. Bob's done something similar before..but Vi? What were the chances that Bob would get her involved? Or was Vi trying to rescue her father on her own? She hoped she didn't do something like that without at least telling her though.. even if Vi had proven to take care of herself, it was making the mother of three fret even more to think that something terrible happened to one of her kids.
With a deliberating bite of her lower lip, the superheroine dropped her headset down to make a call. Although she would try to do things on her own without troubling others, she was not afraid to ask for help if she needed it. "Hey Queen Elsa, how are you?" The masked super-heroine greeted Elsa over the phone with a steady tone of voice, a small smile forming on her face as she spoke. She would be genuinely happy to hear Elsa being well especially now that she was with her sister, but it still didn't hide the insecurities that she was trying to hide on the inside. "Yeah, um..sorry for the bother..have-have ya seen Bob or Vi? They haven't shown up for lunch or dinner, so I thought maybe.." Helen stammered a bit at the beginning the way the mild-mannered mother would have when she was feeling a bit nervous before she faltered at the end, pausing with a sigh as she closed her eyes, keeping her breath steady. It was almost as if she were shaking off any thoughts as to whether something happened. No. Nothing happened. Everything was going to be fine. "Well, if you could just let me know if ya hear anything as far as where they're off to, I'd really appreciate your help. I'll be at the construction site for the new parks they're building here to see if I find anything.." Elastigirl kept an even tone towards the end, almost as if she were a different person than the stammering housewife that was afraid of losing her husband and daughter. There wasn't time to fret. They just had to be around here somewhere. With any hope, Elsa's connections in the task force would be of some help.
