{{OOC: Alright, i admit. Kinda using the "Elder Scrolls" games for references on "How to defend yourself from Ghosts". You can use magic or weapons, but they must be specific(Silver). But for now, I'm just doing the spells! Not overly powerful spells because i don't want to make him too powerful. Just little sparkies for now..}}
The Horned King had channeled some energy into the map, so once Constance touched the map, she would trigger this energy and her hand will be burned. It wouldn't be that bad, it would most likely feel as though she had touched a burning pot mixed with a weak electric zap. Worse comes to worse, her whole body would endure severe amounts of pain. The Horned King was not one to let things go so easily. He was still ticked off at the way Constance spoke to him before, but he was a "Nice Guy" and so, he made sure he didn't channel too much energy into the map.
Still, Constance surprised him once again by admitting that she had no clue on where to go and saying that she actually did need a map. The Horned King was unable to hold back the grin. It was always satisfying to hear others admit that he was right and they were wrong. In a way, it was almost like "Bringing others to the edge and pushing them" as he called it. And it wasn't physically either(well, sometimes..). Those who had no hope were easy to control. So were those who did have hope. Both of them, hopeless or not, they were both easy to control, conquer, destroy. That was bringing others to the edge and pushing them..
Walking over toward Constance, he held the map out for her to take. The Horned King wasn't overly fond of making alliances of any kind, especially with one who would 'stab him in the back'. Still, an alliance with Constance was an intriguing idea, he might have use for her. But if there were to be any alliances, he would be the one in charge. And if the alliance would end with one being betrayed by the other, he would make sure he would be the first to do the betraying.
{{OOC: "The Horned King was a Nice Guy." Sarcasm? You betcha! "Nice Guy" as in: "Tell me where the Cauldron is and i might decided to let you die quickly"
"Those who have no hope are easy to control" Hey! The Horned King is the Gmork from Neverending Story!}}
