Good luck...
Actually, I do enjoy some of the direct-to-video sequels Disney comes out with. There are those that I completely ignore(Hunchback of Notre Dame II), but other then that, some of them are enjoyable.
So, now it is time to do the difficult: what are your top 5 animated Disney Sequels?
1. The Rescuers Down Under
Out of all those animated sequels, Down Under is the only one that is actually in the 'Animated Canon'. There are some that consider Down Under better then it's prequel, though there are those who say otherwise. I do like the prequel, but I'm kinda on the Down Under side...
2. Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
I've always enjoyed Enchanted Christmas. I don't think it's better then it's prequel, but I do enjoy Enchanted Christmas. And it's especially a good holiday movie.
Not only that, but it's got TIM CURRY!! ;D
3. Aladdin and the King of Thieves
I haven't watched the movie in a looong time, but I did get the chance to see it again when I was down at the beach back in july of this year. For a Disney Sequel, King of Thieves is actually very good! ;D
4. The Lion King II: Simba's Pride
Again, not as good as the original, but it is still very good. It's intro song is also pretty awesome, and... Call me crazy, but I would say it's just as good as 'The Circle of Life'. ;D
5. Fantasia 2000
Remember what I said about the Rescuers Down Under being the only sequel in the Disney Animated Canon? I forgot about this one... ;D
I was tempted to put Return of Jafar as no. 5, but I remembered Fantasia 2000 and... Well, guess what got no. 5 instead...
The music is great, and the stories that go with it are great as well. I still can't forget seeing this movie at the theaters. Talk about goosebumps...
So, there you have it. My 5 animated sequels...
