LaunchPad laughed at her question, something Moana debated if she should take offense to but then...decided he didn't mean badly perhaps, his words helping with that assumption.
"Oh...I'm sorry, I didn't...I've never seen one so...", Moana knew an appology may not be needed, it was pretty obvious she was new, but attempted saying it at any rate; best not insult new cultures and try to stil act the Daughter of the Chief, as she was.
"I've...never...flown at all...before", Moana gave a glance to the sky above them. Sailing along on the air instead of the sea? It...sounded half intriguing, even if she knew it probably wouldn't quite compare to the sea itself. To her personally anyway.
Another's arrival, this Elsa mentioned it seemed, distracted Moana from actually deciding if she would take up the offer or no.
The girl nodded.
Everything in this one's bearing said she was used to leadership, probably a Chiefest herself, or near enough to one. "How do you do?" Moana gave a slight nod that would just do for a greeting and in deference to one who probably had enough position to deserve it at least.
Hopefully...all this new culture stuff and not knowing how things stood other than she was in some...park.
Speaking of which, Launchpad stepped back to let them talk, further enforcing this one's position, even if he joked it off.
Moana turned back to Elsa. "I...was sailing, with my family, and...well I don't know what happened", she explained, "One minute we were heading towards one of the islands Maui was going to pull up for us and then...I was on a completely different current, heading here, I guess...".
Did that sound insane?
A nudge down by her feet reminded Moana of her animal companions. "Oh, this is Pua and Heihei. They...don't talk but...are very good friends". Pua at least gave a cute grunt that seemed a hello...Heihei kept pecking the shore they'd run up against and were now more or less on.
"From the gods? Nah, I built it myself. And it's not really a boat, at least, not THIS kind."

"You wanna jump in? I can give you a tour of the place. Takes a bit of adjustin' though, heh heh. You ever flown any other way before?"

The girl nodded.
"I am Elsa. I understand you just arrived?"
