It hadn't taken the grey mongrel long to get over his shock at finding himself in a strange place. It also hadn't taken him long to slip back into some of his old street-dog mentality and go for a walk to explore his new surroundings. With practiced ease, he weaved through the crowds of people, taking note of how they looked with awe at their surroundings, concluding that this place must be some sort of theme park, or fair, or something along those lines, only on a grand scale.
As he slipped through the crowds, avoiding anybody who gave him odd looks and slipping out of their line of sight without a second thought, his thoughts turned to breakfast. Normally, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but he wasn't in his old stomping grounds. He'd have to improvise something instead. His nose led him towards the Italy section of EPCOT, drawn to the scents of pasta sauce, herbs, and sausage. He was reminded of Tony's back in New England, and he felt a sudden pang of regret that Pidge couldn't be here to share this experience with him.
Well, once he got back, he'd sure have some stories to tell her and their kids. He padded across the plaza, eying the various buildings with interest. They certainly didn't have this style of architecture in New England. And sure enough, he found what he was looking for. Tutto Italia. He doubted it was named after anybody in particular. But how to get some food? Places like that typically didn't like dogs coming in. Nor did there seem to be any easy ways to get around the side or back of the structure. Well, he'd think of something. He wasn't one to be stumped so easily.
