Why'd you pick this character? The "New Groove" movies are a very fun style of humor which I would enjoy emulating, and Kronk is an interesting character who is a good source of the movies' humor.

Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality:
Kronk was most known for his loyalty, always thinking about his friends and allies. This matured into strong compassion over the course of Yzma's plot to become emperor, eventually leading to him changing sides and saving Emperor Kuzco in the end. Since then he remained loyal to his friends, increasingly known for his big heart as he saw and valued the rewards this change brought.
Despite the above, Kronk was known for his disconnected behavior. In fact much of their adventure is the result of an unwillingness to follow through with disposing of Kuzco. Moral Dilemmas such as these slowly turned him into one of the good guys, a friend of the emperor.
Kronk's moral dilemmas were connected to another peculiarity of his. When faced with a difficult decision, he would begin to talk to himself. Or, to his "Shoulder Angel and Devil" as he was heard saying at times. Apparently not realizing others cannot see these hallucinations. This behavior ultimately led to his betrayal of Yzma.
History:
As a child Kronk was looked down upon by his father, who had a narrow definition of success. In Kronk's own words nothing he did ever made Papi proud. Not helped by his incredible attraction toward the softer side of things. A love for baking and vegetable recipes such as spinach puffs. Even a stint in scouting wouldn't impress Papi. All through his younger years he never took things seriously, working toward a career, status, and eventually success. At best his bodybuilding and diner jobs kept his father off his back, and taught him some useful language skills as well. But his skills were in the gourmet on the cooking side.
This is what led him to take another line of work, a gateway to some status serving under the Emperor's royal advisor. Someone who had finally let him be himself as long as he went along with her plans. Perfecting his recipes, cooking for her and the Emperor at times. Things were really starting to look up! Eventually one of her plans involved a plot against the emperor, but he was just following orders, and it was a massive boon for him. Ruling by her side, at least for a while, until the rightful emperor returned.
Their return forced Kronk to make a decision, one he would make many times. To do the right thing even if it gets in the way of his own goals. Betrayed by Yzma after a botch attempt to betray her, eventually succeeding by a fluke to save Emperor Kuzco! Smoothing over things, he ended up making friends, going back to cooking at a diner where he had managed to gain respect and fulfill at least some of his dreams.
Not long after this he had to return to making his father, Papi, proud, and finally earn the "Big Thumbs Up" as he called it, giving rather specific names to his father's disapprovals toward him, as well as this one sign of approval. Lured into another scheme to try and get "The big house on the hill" part of success, surrendering it afterward. Meeting and losing the woman of his dreams by doing the right thing once again. In the end he would make him proud, by showing his growth and conviction as a person, and earning his father's pride.
Ambitions:
Strengths & abilities:
Kronk was physically strong, a skilled chef, and strong-willed. Well-known for his assortment of skills, capable of replacing a chef instantly, and multi-tasking as one somewhat effectively. Very good knowledge of woods with brief inspection, not to mention speaking to animals. Junior Chipmunks and Diner work taught him a large array of skills using his hands, from balance to knot-tying and more.
Flaws:
Kronk was loyal to a fault, and slow to disagree with others. His desire to do well trumped all else.
Additionally, he was known for his disconnectedness. In the middle of the woods he seemed to treat it like camping, under cover he seemed to get too far into character. Easily losing sight of the objective.
Likes:
Kronk loved cooking most of all, with a healthy amount of the outdoors. And if anyone likes having a lot of friends, it is Kronk. Not to mention rides, whether roller coaster like Yzma provided, or train like he built for himself at his briefly-owned House on a Hill.
Dislikes:
Kronk did not take insults well, especially of his cooking, which prompted his betrayal against Yzma. In addition, he disliked altercations. Between his friends, woodland and human; or even himself facing his father.
Fears:
His biggest fear had always been failing in the eyes of his father, driving most of his actions until he finally earned his pride. Failure continues to be his greatest fear; Be it burning his cooking, a bad recipe, or others being injured.
Anything to add?:
Nothing to add.
