While he danced to Panchito's words that he sung, Héctor grinned excitedly at his new caballero friend singing and playing so well! "Hey! Así ES, amigo! (That's how you DO it, amigo!)" He praised his friend after singing those verses. This felt just as good as singing and dancing with Miguel the first time, so it definitely helped him feel tons better from how he felt earlier after that ofrenda and chorizo incident! Music just had a way of making all the bad disappear from his life, even when he was live during the dangerous Mexican Revolution, which was why it was sometimes harder to keep away the gloom during the time he quit being a musician in the land of the dead. In this same way, the music helped him to quell all the bad experiences from his day to make it a great day of performing!
Then, there was a smile that they both shared in that moment that seemed to indicate that they were truly on the same wave length. It was almost the same as the kind he shared with him and Miguel. The kind that came from the heart of truly great performers; the one that was enough to make them sing in unison! While he continued to dance with his footwork, Héctor harmonized to Panchito's strong voice as they sang:
"¡Ay, Jalisco no te rajes! (Jalisco don't give up!)
Me sale del alma! Gritar con calor! (It comes from my soul, belting out a grito with passion)
Abrir todo el pecho pa' echar este grito (Opening your entire chest to let out this grito)
¡Qué lindo es Jalisco, palabra de honor! (How beautiful is Jalisco, word of honor)
¡Qué lindo es Jalisco, palabra de honor! (How beautiful is Jalisco, word of honor)"
With a twirl of his body, the skeletal composer found no harm in taking his hat and twirling it in his wrist while he grabbed his head with his other hand and tossed his head up in the air, still singing as his head rose high above to the ceiling so that all could hear, and then finally lowered perfectly square back onto his neck bones and shoulders. Taking a knee, he then placed a hand on Panchito's back as he repeated the final verse along with him, though Panchito seemed to hold a note even longer than Ernesto could! He parted his lips and whistled in amazement. "EPA!! Hey! You were amazing! Qué BIEN, Panchi-!" Suddenly, Héctor halted in his praising of Panchito and glanced over when he noticed there was a commotion going on that even grabbed the attention of the audience. He slowly stood up to his feet again with his eye sockets arched in bemusement upon recognizing that voice. Was that Imelda?
