Rapunzel had just experienced the thrill of riding a monorail. The only park she had explored was Magic Kingdom. Wandering around the World Showcase, she suddenly smelled some special treats that came from the bakeries in Corona. As she reached the smell, a banner read, “Germany.” Confused, Rapunzel took a step back. This place resembled Corona, but why was it called Germany. Maybe it was a translation into another language? As her stomach growled, she remembered why she had came here. She walked up to the cart. A girl was wearing a traditional German costume, which many Coronans wore. “Hello! I’d like to have a lantern roll please.” She said, grabbing some money out of her pocket. She had found it in her pocket when she arrived, and was ready to put it to good use. “What?” Asked the cast member. “We don’t sell lantern rolls.” She pointed to the menu, listing the options. Rapunzel couldn’t read the strange words. She had no clue how to pronounce them. Dominostein? Franzbrotchen? She pointed to the white sweet roll. “One or those? I thought they were called lantern rolls.” The cast member looked at her strangely and grabbed one. “That’ll be five dollars. For the Dampfnudel.” She said. Rapunzel handed her the money, and grabbed the sweet, confused. First this place was called Germany, now lantern rolls were called Dampfnudel? What was going on here. Sitting down on a bench, she glanced around. It was Corona, through and through. Walking up to a cast member, she asked. “What is this section fo the park called?” The tall man replied, “Germany.” Rapunzel shook her head. “What about in English?” She waited for him to say Corona, like she expected. “Uhhh... Germany.” The princess sat back down, confused. She finished her roll, whatever it was called. She wanted someone to explain what was happening!
