Ronno did not like crowds; granted he didn't like a lot of things, but crowds were definitely near the top of that list.
It was...strange, very strange though: he could tell that this was that place where he had first encountered Accipiter the Gryphon...but it was different. The scent of oranges, drifting over from a veritable forest surrounding the park, was much, much stronger: almost overwhelming for the whitetail's nose. Some of the structures were familiar, some were missing...some, like that bizarre white and red tree peeking through, were new. Even the crowd of humans looked and scented different, with unfamiliar clothes.

Judy Hopps had been scheduled to work in Disneyland today. That was the oldest of this series of theme parks, and it had its unique aspects, as did all the other parks. As she marched off to work, a characteristic spring in her step, she turned a corner and slowed to a halt, confusion written on her face.
The statue of Walt and that giant mouse was gone! "Somebody stole Walt's statue!" she cried, rushing to the spot. The first thing to do was to set up a perimeter so nobody would disturb the crime scene. Judy pulled out some yellow tape (yes, she carried it with her), and started to rope off the area.
Once that was done, the rabbit officer dug in her pocket for her cel phone to call in to security.

Coco once again passed from one of the parks to another. This time the smaller Disneyland, and seemingly without knowing it. Or, thought she had since learned that that was what was occurring, she could still never catch the exact moment it happened. Or she was never trying to catch it, which might make all the difference.
Knowing she could just as easily make it back to the hotel with the same logic, and when she walked back the other way, the elderly skeleton didn't panic and instead glanced around curiously.
She saw one of those adorable talking animals--a bunny, who Coco thought had been at Rosa's Quinceañera--roping off an area for some reason. As well as a woman, dressed in a manner Coco hadn't seen in years! Not since she was the same age as the woman. The woman gave a fierce yank to one of her high heels shoes and next yanked a little boy off after her, looking put out either by that or the heat.
Though she hadn't had any little boys herself (only two girls) Coco recognized the child's clothing also! American styled of course though.
What in the world...
"No service?!? How can there be no service?"
If she really thought about the bunny's exclamation, as she paused close enough to hear it now, an answer might have occurred to Coco but...that was absurd...even for all of the absurd she had seen.
Still, the bunny looked like she was in-charge in some capacity and Coco tried to recall her name as she approached. "Excuse me...Officer Judy was it? Is there some kind of themed event I missed a notice about?", she asked, glancing once again to the oddly dressed crowd.
Given that they lived in California, it could be said that Helen usually visited Disneyland the most compared to the other parks. The humble mother of three remembered shaking her head with a wry smile and a playful roll of her eyes at the Incredicoaster that she passed by with her family. She didn't really much care about her own theme song, so having a ride seemed a little.. too much, for Helen's tastes. It always made her think about Bob though, knowing how much he'd like something like this. Thankfully Dash was here, he'd say something that remind her of something Bob would say, so it always tried to fill a missing piece whenever she needed it; perhaps not fill it quite completely, given that Bob was still her husband of 15 years, but it was enough. A small, pensive smile formed on her lips just thinking about her husband at home.
With a blink of her brown eyes, the auburn haired mother dressed in a dark blue shirt and khaki capris with flats was suddenly greeted by other people that seemed to wear familiar dress styles. "Huh? What in the world?" Helen remarked in shock at first, raising a thin eyebrow upon scrutinizing the different settings. No tank tops, short shorts, or crop tops were to be found anywhere. She even remembered wearing that same dress that this young lady was wearing, though of course she wore it around the time that she was pregnant with Dash. The stay-at-home mother didn't wear dresses that often anymore.
"Is this that Dapper Day event already?" Helen remarked to her kids with a smirk, knowing that Violet would probably had an answer to that question given how she's always in the know about the current events. Yet when she glanced back, Helen's lips parted when she noticed that even the Incredicoaster was gone. "Wait a minute..We're.. back home?" She murmured in shock, then glanced down to see her kids' reaction when the mother bear whirled around in fear. "NO! Where are my kids?!" Helen practically yelled this in horror, suddenly realizing that she might've been sent back home without them! "Oh no!" The mother of three placed her hand on her forehead, trying to frantically calm herself down to think about what she could do. She might've easily had a melt down, just thinking about her kids having to fend for themselves, if it weren't for a voice that alerted about a theft that caused Helen to turn over to see who that familiar voice belonged to. Upon seeing Judy, and then suddenly seeing Coco from the Rivera family, a sense of relief instantly washed over her face as a weight was lifted off of her enough to allow her to breathe again. If they were here, then that meant that she was still in the parks! "Oh..hey! I'm so glad you're here! You have no idea how much I needed to see a familiar face!" She placed her hand on her chest with a relieved smile. "I was startin' to think I was sent back home!" She explained with a small smile, before glancing about her surroundings again a little more calmly, using her aviator eyes for any sign of her kids that might've strayed and then blinked in surprise - was that a deer in the parks? Well, that couldn't have been the weirdest thing Helen had seen, given that she had experienced meeting Aliens and talking skeletons already.
Dash loved the Incredicoaster! There was no doubt about that! And he had ridden it about six times since they had been here!
A ride themed to them was just...so perfect; and well deserved if you asked him! The boy even paused to watch it for a small bit, before tilting his head and, unbeknownst to him, giving the sort of comment his mother needed. "Hmm...I don't know if I like my part of the sign, you can't even tell it's me! I mean you and Vi sure but...". Dash broke off and followed his mother.
As they walked, something fell into Dash's path and he glanced down at it. a purse. He didn't even notice it was the kind of matching yellow purse some ladies would carry with their dresses back home. At the risk of being thought stealing, Dash bent and picked it up, a glance to the side quickly finding the owner in her matching dress.
"Here you go ma'am", he handed it back...then endured the hair tousling and cheek pinch as he was told what a sweet boy he was.
Not the best reward for a Super, even undercover, but...
Dash glanced over to find his family again...and couldn't for a bit! Shocked, and worried, he turned a small circle, "Mom...!". He then spotted her, up ahead talking with Miss Coco!
"Mom!", Dash rushed over, thankfully not having had too much time in which to get truly worried, and thinking he just fell behind. "Sorry, I stopped to help a lady...hey wait a minute...!", Dash turned back around to glance after the lady, only just now realizing how she had been dressed familiarly! In fact everyone in the crowd was!

It was all Thunderbolt I could do not give a salvo of happy barks. From the scent he knew he was back in California, his home!
Best of all, the time was right! No more was it the odd 21st century, with its humans dressed in shockingly casual clothes.
Thunderbolt I was back home, back in the 1950s!
The german shepherd settled for a furious wag of his bottle brush tail, prancing and whining. Why, it seemed like this park was filled with celebrities: wasn't that Ronnie Reagan, over there? And over there: that looked like Art Linkletter! There too was good old Danny Thomas, a favorite of the dog's. And Frank Sinatra...it seemed like everyone was here!
Then too how comforting it was, seeing the bulky cameras of ABC and miles of cables.
The crowds didn't bother him at all (although he couldn't help a twinge of jealousy: never had he brought in that number of people).
Thunderbolt I weaved through the crowds like a dog in a dream, so focused was he that he didn't even notice he was about to collide with the boy in front of him.
