"This is my axe! I found it,"
This answer did not bode well for the argumentative superheroine, who was quite already used to arguing with her husband whenever he was thinking of himself instead of everyone else. "I don't care if you found it, Mr. Toad! Darn you! We are NOT attacking the walls right now! The entire building might collapse on everyone and all you can think about is taking out the walls! I'm not asking again, give me the ax NOW!" Elastigirl demanded while attempting to grab the ax away from him.
Darkwing soon rushed in and Elastigirl blinked her brown eyes in surprise when he threatened Mr. Toad with a gun being held up to his face, practically at gun point. Of course, Mr. Toad took this very badly, calling him all sorts of names that branded Darkwing like a criminal.
Helen would have knocked Mr. Toad out with a swift punch without warning the way she had done to any other person breaking the law, but then considered that it was only going to make Darkwing look worse after all those words of defamation that Mr. Toad had yelled once he'd wake up from consciousness. Not to mention anyone else that heard Mr. Toad's exclamations would then find Mr. Toad unconscious and then question Darkwing holding a gun. She knew all about the reputation of heroes, it was what lead to the law about superheroes being illegal in the first place. She couldn't want the same for Darkwing.
Instead of punching him out, Elastigirl instead took advantage of his distraction to Darkwing and stretched her arms around the amphibian's arms in attempts to tie Mr. Toad hands together behind him in a restraining position. "You should be in jail for breaking the law!" Helen once again attempted to take the ax away. "Can ya float him out of here?!" Elastigirl beckoned Mateo to use his magic and get him to safety with the rest.
"Mom!"
Elastigirl whipped her head over to the sound of Dash's yell.
"Jack-Jack's tracker has a...anti-fire foam on it"
Of course! Helen instantly realized what Dash might be onto with his idea. "It's in the back of the stroller!" Helen recalled with a yell and then glanced back at where they were seated, stretching her foot since her hands were currently occupied in attempts to kick the stroller towards Dash's direction.
