Unlike other villains, Morgana Macawber didn't care much for notoriety or having an "evil reputation," so much as running a business or finding ways of obtaining money for her student loans. Thus, the evil business woman really wasn't the type to go out unless it suited her and receiving that letter to be nominated for the Criminal Escape Artist award at the Villains Convention in Florida certainly prompted her to one of those times. It was dark and humid as soon as nightfall hit at the convention in Florida, and Morgana was perusing the various tables inside before returning to her table of skulls that she exhibited. She always did favor skulls for decor.
"It really is magnificent, Bushroot.." Morgana hovered her purple eyelids lowly over her emerald orbs with an admiring smile at the monstrous carnivorous plant that he demonstrated to her. Bushroot happened to be the first and only evil villain that Morgana had come to know thus far, given that she had only just recently made a profitable transaction with Bushroot in aiding him with the creation of monstrous carnivorous plants, a similarity they both shared. Truly, her monstrous father would have favored the likes of Bushroot for a boyfriend, but Morgana's heart was already set on someone else. Besides, she truly didn't care for the light in comparison to his need for it. If only he were a mushroom..
Given that she hardly associated with other villains in her profitable evil schemes, the evil business woman never really considered it a rare feat for a villain to never be caught or sent to jail by the law enforcement before. Although this was nothing in comparison to anyone receiving the nomination for the Most Evil Villain of the Year award, she didn't think that her award that she was about to receive really was all that difficult to obtain either, though who was she to deny a reward given for free? While a few villains nearby would complain loudly about Darkwing Duck catching them, Morgana remained quiet as a small, reminiscent smile curved along her orange bill whilst her finger traced the bony features of the skull she had in front of her. Darkwing Duck. That sweet, charming creature of the night. Oh, she couldn't help but inwardly melt at that noble hero's smile, especially that adorable way he'd be all flustered around her. She had to admit, even if Darkwing ruined her fun, Morgana did enjoy playing the game. Oh Darkwing, Good is simply too unreliable; couldn't you understand that Evil was merely a dependable business?
Almost as if her heart had wished it to be true, the tall, voluptuous witch immediately stood up from her seat and blinked her green eyes in surprise to find what appeared to be Darkwing nearing her table of skulls. "Darkwing..?" She questioned what she was staring at, for it appeared to be Darkwing Duck wearing the same style that he always wore with the exception of his attire being a bright yellow and black, a stark contrast to Darkwing's shades of purple that blended so handsomely with the night sky. Why was he dressed so differently? But more importantly what was he doing at a Villains Convention? "What are you doing here?" Morgana managed to ask him while her heart began to race, though she wasn't sure if it was because it was him or because she was nervous about being seen here by him, as demonstrated by the small sheepish smile she wore as she glimpsed around her before returning her attention back to him. Why weren't the other villains reacting to Darkwing being here? Also, was it strange to feel ashamed to have him see her associated with these evil villains even if she herself was an self-declared evil business woman? Ugh, Darkwing was clearly messing with her mind with his convincing ways again. No, she had already fooled him into thinking that he dreamed up that entire scheme she had about putting the entire city of St. Canard asleep if only to preserve her romantic secret heart, she wasn't about to ruin that by sharing anything that personal to Darkwing again! Yet upon peering into his eyes, they didn't carry the same, tender gaze that she remembered her Darkwing having. The resemblance looked far too close to be a relative or a paid look-a-like actor meant for a satirical role in a play that might be held here. Could Darkwing possibly have a twin? What was going on?
