A Strange Beginning Of Spring (Open)

Spring recently began, and Flower woke up, yawned, and stretched his arms, ending his sleep. He was seeing himself in a lot of flowers, just like he did right before he went to sleep the night before. Little did he know, though, that he was in an enclosed area in another land and not in the forest.
”Another beautiful day in the spring,” he said, feeling relaxed, and he sniffed one of the flowers around him and let out an affectionate sigh.
Just as he was about to spend another day in the flowers, he found something very surprising when he turned around. He saw Bambi and Thumper in the flowers with him.
”Oh,” the skunk gasped, seeing that not only were his friends there, but they were much bigger in size than they were when he last saw them. “Hello, Bambi. Hello, Thumper. You sure seem to have grown a lot last night.”
Little did Flower know that the friends of his whom he was talking to were not the real fawn and rabbit. They weren’t responding to him when he was talking to them. They weren’t even moving. There was something else, though, that the skunk found strange, particularly about Bambi.
”Bambi, you got your spots back,” he said, taking a look at the fake Bambi, “and you don’t have your antlers anymore. What happened?”
While waiting for a response from his fawn friend, he looked over to see a skunk that looked exactly like him. This skunk was as fake as the friends of his that he was just talking to.
”Looks like you made a new skunk friend,” he said, and he waved the fingers on his right hand up and down at it in a coy manner. “Hello.”
After speaking to the fake skunk, Flower waited a few moments for it, the fake fawn, and the fake rabbit to respond to him in any way, but still, nothing happened during that time or even after that.
”What’s the matter?” he asked the three fake animals with a tone of concern. “Why aren’t you saying anything? Why aren’t you moving?”
