Summer Fun in the Waves {Open}

[Andrina]

{ooc: Thought of this when we were throwing around summer ideas. Open for anyone who's interested in just a day at the beach, with some help from Andrina and Moana to make it interesting. Can stumble on it or a Cast Member could have mentioned, however}

The dolphins did a triple flip as they shot from the water, landing and laughing in their typical fashion that still didn't sound like words, but was able to be understood by the mermaid who surfaced a bit after. "Alright, I see you, maybe save it for later and don't tire yourself out?", she smiled, just giving a suggestion.

Yet, for all Andrina knew, these two dolphins didn't care to show off later to any of the little girls (or anyone) who might come by, and only cared about showing off to her, King Triton's daughter. Andrina took for granted that, varying worlds like the parks aside, all sea denizens would know of her father, and thus her and her sisters.

Speaking, or just thinking, of Triton, if he knew about the human his second to youngest daughter had planned up to meet for this day, he would no doubt have many thoughts, and perhaps not all of them flattering. Moana wasn't as powerful, but any human who had gained the ocean's favor as she had, and could request things of it, was another he had to like...right?

Well, Andrina liked her, and the two had planned up the best beach party idea in the history of ever, or so Andrina thought! Sea Creatures and accommodating Waves from the Ocean; what could be better? They would have to wait and see if any kids, or anyone, showed up, but first Andrina had to wait for Moana to show up as well. She watched the dolphins (who had only partly taken her suggestion and toned down the flips) as she did so, smiling to herself. Whether they wanted to show off or not, dolphins were always playful enough, hence her making sure to invite them to this.

[Moana]

"Don't worry, just because she specified she was bringing sea creatures, you two are very welcomed as well", Moana told Pua and HeiHei in what she at least thought was a true statement. Andrina hadn't seemed to mind the pig or rooster back when they'd met, nor any of the times since; including when they had come up with this idea of a beach party around the start of the summer and when kids would be coming to the parks more frequently with their parents now that school was out.

Not an all out Event of sorts, and hindered by the fact that the most convenient sea location they could find was actually in the Tokyo parks, but then the Tokyo parks deserved a splash of fun as well! In the main parks, they all inexplicably spoke English, or could understand each-other, and even within the varying locations, Moana at least had never had a problem finding at least one Cast Member who could also understand her and whom she now told of what they were doing down at the beach if any were interested.

It might just be other Special Guests who could pass the portals who took them up on this, and that was fine as well.

Pushing the canoe out into the sea from another shore where she had been picking up some spare paddles in case anyone wanted rowing lessons or such, Moana made sure Pua and HeiHei were secure (more so the latter and nudged him back to the middle of the canoe a time or two) and rowed over to where Andrina had said to meet her. She soon spotted the mermaid, frolicking with dolphins Moana herself was eager to play with, if they would let her. She lifted her hand as she slowed her boat. "Aloha, Andrina, well looks like we're set!".

Moana hadn't received a definite answer from Maui about if he would be showing up, but recalled that 'Uncle' Jumba had sounded interested in the idea when she'd mentioned a beach party (and informed her of all he knew about such things...in the way of children who thought they knew more than they did, even Moana could tell, but it was just as endearing).

Somehow, this hornbill found a way to get his beak into everything. Especially where it came to parties, if not for his size, he would be quite the Party Pooper.

"Show-offs." the hornbill commented as he landed, clearly about the dolphins as he looked into their directions. "If I see anyone I know, I'll need to keep an eye on them..." he noted mostly to himself, "Beach Party, hm? What exactly does that mean?" this bird certainly had attitude, if not as bad as a certain red lorry, "Set? Set for what?" he added as Moana continued to speak in vagaries. One would hope he could be convinced to lighten up.

"Please do explain what all is going on, ladies." he inquired, "It will be hard to keep an eye on things if I do not know what they are!" he squawked with a tinge of bossiness.

Hot on the tail of the bird was the resident chihuahua! "Ooh Andrina, nice to see ya again senorita!" he grinned, and looked at Zazu, "Hey man, you gotta loosen up! Enjoy the sun, the waves!" he yipped, returning his attention toward the familiar face and approaching her, distancing himself from where Zazu had perched. While he wasn't well-groomed, his fur and energy showed he had been bored up until he discovered the event. Perhaps by that hornbill.

"Am I right? Of course I am! And I've got a great doggy paddle. Are we going to swim or what, amigos? It takes more than a beach to make a beach fiesta!" he announced, "If a certain bird wants attention, we could make him the entertainment, couldn't we?" he suggested with a hint of mischief.

[Flower]

Flower had been walking around the park for some time, keeping himself hidden in all the plants he could find to keep himself hidden in it. He kept himself in flowers, in tall grass, behind trees, and behind bushes, until he reached a spot where there were no plants left for him to hide in or behind. This got the little skunk to be in a lot of fear, because no matter where in the park he went, he saw a lot of one of the things he feared the most: man.

The skunk started running past man and many strange things in the park in panic. He knew that by seeing all this, the park was absolutely nothing like the forest that he once lived in. He was so panicked about all this that he didn’t take any time to stop and see how man in the park could really be. He went from one area of the park to another, seeing something different yet still strange with each area he ended up finding himself in.

After going from area to area to area for days, Flower reached one that was far different from the forest that he once lived in, taking deep breaths and lying down on his front so he could rest. While there, he saw two more of man, both of which were actually female. Strangely, one of them was half-female man and half-fish. The other had two animals with her, both of which the little skunk never saw back in the forest. There were two other animals. One of them was a kind of bird that he never saw before, while the other was another one of the things he feared the most: a dog. This particular dog was the smallest one that the skunk kit ever saw, but he was still too afraid to go near it.

Seeing all these beings got the skunk to wonder how to feel about all this. The poor forest animal didn’t know what to do, say, or feel about what and who he was seeing at this point.

(Just thought I’d join in as Flower. I’d like to give him something to do.)

[Andrina]

Andrina had just settled the dolphins enough that she thought they would behave fairly well and not overly splash, for the moment, when she heard Moana's voice, and turning waved.

"Hiya Moana, yeah...", she began to answer back that they did indeed have everything settled, when a bird's voice interrupted. Andrina turned towards the source, smiling. Of all the conquered and explored spaces, she had lived in the Ocean her whole life, and figured out Land by now due to her time in the Parks, but Air and what it must be to fly was still a mystery. Of sorts. She really just imagined birds 'swam' in it, like an upside down sort of swimming only they weren't upside down.

Anyway!

The mermaid princess only pondered this because she was trying to figure out, in the back of her mind, what kind of fun a bird could have at a beach party, though he was welcome of course!

"Of course!", Andrina took explaining, but left an opening for Moana to add anything, "I'm not sure how familiar you are with the water, swimming in the air and all, but Moana and I, who are experts at it and the ocean, my father ruling it and her having its favor, decided we would host a swimming party and...well the point is just having fun in the water, as Tito here says", she nodded a greeting to him as well, and didn't mean to take introducing himself from him, but showed she did recall him from the oh so fun Treasure Hunt!

By saying even this much, Andrina felt she had already over explained it perhaps; fun in the water. That was the point.

"Sure we could!", she next answered the dog with a grin. Maybe it was the bird's bossy tone, which she didn't really mind, but which brought out her playfulness, but she sent only a light splash towards his claws, as if to show him but not douse him.

She saw another sort of creature approach and tilted her head, wondering what it was.

[Moana]

Andrina's smile alone showed that she agreed that they were set, or she didn't look to Moana like she thought of anything they might be missing, as she went on to say, but didn't finish saying before a dog walked up. A cute little dog about the size of Pua!

One Andrina knew it seemed, both by his words and her introducing him. "Welcome both of you!", she said with a smile, glancing from him to the bird who had also flown over and was now asking for clarification about their beach party.

"Of course!"

Andrina launched into explaining, and Moana let her but listened for anything she might need to add.

"I'm not sure how familiar you are with the water, swimming in the air and all, but Moana and I, who are experts at it and the ocean, my father ruling it and her having its favor, decided we would host a swimming party and...well the point is just having fun in the water, as Tito here says"

Moana smiled. Andrina could mention her princess status, father's status included, so causally some times. She didn't think it was a bad thing. "That's about it", she agreed, before noticing another arrival.

A very cute arrival (not that the little dog wasn't also). Moana moved her canoe over to the shore and hopped out to cautiously walk closer. "Well hi there, are you here for the swimming party too?", she asked, bending down before him. Pua followed from the canoe and hesitantly walked up behind her, glancing at the new creature as well before giving an oink of greeting.

[Jumba Jookiba]

Jumba was actually excited! This whole idea of a beach party with his newest adopted niece sounded like what the rest of his adopted family (whom he saw as all in one and not with Moana as separate, being from his time here in the Parks aside) had done many times back in Hawaii.

Speaking of said Pelekais, it was also just what he needed! It had started when Nani and Lilo both became just hard to pin down. The sisters had each-other now so they weren't staying with Moana so it wasn't unheard of for either him or Moana to have trouble pinning them down...but then it went on.

Jumba had whipped up an elaborate tracking device in his work at defeating the barrier (to no success yet) and he now tried to use it to help locate the girls, to equal no result. Of course it could be calibrated wrong, but it all gave him a bad feeling. That the girls might have 'left' left.

Good for them and 626 of course, but...not good for him selfishly.

Well, if it was up to him to show Moana how beach parties were done in Hawaii and in Big and Little Girls' honor, Jumba Jookiba would do it right!

That was why he had refused the first five pool floats the Cast Member at one of the shops had helped him find as not good enough, as well as the inner tubes.

Finally he had it! So, the day of Moana's party, Jumba arrived wearing a yellow duckie floating ring that looked ready to burst around his girth but was still holding up and holding an assortment of foam noddles and pool toys under his arms. "Little-Chief-Moana!", he called over to her, using his obvious nickname he had gifted her since she was now part of his Ohana, "Am remembering the buoyant water amusement, enough for no kiddie fights hopefully".

As he reached the spot, he noticed a few had already shown up, but not kids, other animals, and in fact Moana had gotten off of her canoe to walk over to one of them and bend very close.

Jumba took a moment to identify the small animal. "Oh, would be being careful, those are stinking sometimes", he told her as he set down the pool toys, not trying to be insulting to the little creature, and not viewing it as such really, stink was useful at times.

In fact, if there was one thing Jumba paid attention to and got right about the Earth animals in all his time on his new home planet, it was anything unusual about them that held potential as traits to give any new Experiments. Not that he was making Experiments on Earth...but just to know about...and keep an eye out for.

Zazu glared at the dog, presumably they had been together long enough that he had started to be ignored, the dog wasn't making much effort to hide his intentions by speaking so plainly. Still, the hornbill said nothing of it, paying some attention to the skunk keeping its distance, though he would not call it such. He knew how it was to be at events and not know anyone... he frowned on it of course. By the time he faced the mermaid again his beak would have moved slightly to one.

It became a pleasant smile at her simple explanation, he would surely aim to compliment it later when it was appropriate. "Flying." he corrected, but he seemed intrigue with her casual mention of ruling the ocean, and... the other woman having it's favor? He chose not to ask, and focus on learning what this event was. "Great" he thought. He anticipated the water, but chose to stay where he was, letting the water hit his talons. "Last I checked I am not a duck." he said dryly, noticing the inflatable one around Jumba. "They look a little more like that thing he's wearing." he pointed his wing toward the alien, his sarcasm heavy.

"Buoyant... water... amusement..." the hornbill repeated. Someone that used more big words than him? Astounding. "Yes, no kiddie fights." he understood that well enough. "In other words, swimming toys." Zazu observed. "Seeing as I can't swim, I would need one of those bouyant things." he said, taking the risk it would be viewed as childish. They all seemed immature enough.

The dog snickered at Andrina's agreement, he liked any girl, but this girl jived real well with him. He spotted the skunk, but staying with the senorita was more important than keeping distance, and he had a feeling it was a 'character' like him. "Stinking? You got that right! Pheewie..." he couldn't hide becoming nervous "Guess we'd best get in before we get... sprayed!" he exclaimed, looking up at the toys on offer first. "Toys? What you got up there, man? Anything for dogs?" he stood up on his hind legs and moved to put his paws on Jumba's legs, as dogs do. At this point Zazu had inquired, and Tito chuckled, "I don't think pool toys can make you feel like a duck." he teased. "As much as you want to be one right now!"

[Flower]

Flower was a bit surprised by how much attention he was getting from the others in this area. From what he just saw and heard from them, they were all rather harmless, including the all-human female and the animal that was with her.

“Hello,” the skunk said to the animal accompanying the all-human female in a coy manner as he waved his little fingers on his right hand up and down at him in response to the greeting squeal, and he looked up at the human. “Hello. Swimming…party? What’s that?”

The kit looked over to the water. He saw water back in the forest, but never this much. In any case, he never went into water, so he never knew how to swim, as skunks were not made for that.

“I’m sorry,” the forest animal said bashfully, looking up at the human again as he clasped his hands together, stretched his arms downward, and raised his shoulders, “but I can’t swim.”

Flower quickly became sad when he heard how the dog and the fat, four-eyed being commented on him. He only ever sprayed odor a couple of times, both when he was made to be brave by a rabbit friend of his named Thumper. Other than that, he never let out any bad smell that would be noticeable to anyone, including himself. He was relieved, though, that the dog wasn’t going to hunt him down.

Sisu had been in the ocean a few times before. She did love swimming, after all. She also been to the beach, and she did enjoy seeing the people have fun and enjoy the warm summer days that Kumandra had. She even participated in said fun! Playing with the kids, helping fishermen get food...she was that kind of dragon. After everything that happened in stopping the Druun and rejoining Kumandra, Sisu had made it a goal to visit the ocean again. Of course, then there was the whole 'brought into a new world' and her figuring out the waterways...

Which led to her surprise when she found herself into an entirely new location on some distant country! She was surprised, but that surprise led to curiosity and amazement. The people here reminded her too much of the people of Kumandra, though she didn't know what they were saying. Still, people did recognize her. Kids were in awe and wanted to hug her, which she allowed. They were just cute! And the adults took pictures. Still not used to the flashes. But her wanderings led her to the coast...where there was an ocean, and a beach.

"I always wanted to see the ocean again," Sisu said to herself with a smile. She would close her eyes, allowing the soft ocean breeze to blow through her mane. The dragon took a breath, smelling that salty air, "Just as I remembered it."

From her position, she'd soon spot a gathering. There were a few people there, alongside a few animals as well. Maybe the animals were pets? Then again, she shouldn't consider that. They could be intelligent too. And...wait, was that Moana?

"Hey, Moana!" Sisu called out as she walked to the beach, "Didn't know you were here. I mean, I thought I was the only one since I was swimming around...Epcot, I think it was called, and ended up in this place. What's going on?"

[Andrina]

Everyone seemed to have an opinion on the little creature that approached, and Andrina watched it all half curious and half amused. Moana's Uncle Jumba she was a bit familiar with, from mention anyway.

So he was trying to pass as human and was unaffected that no one probably bought it? She couldn't figure out his 'deal'.

Zazu's dry comment about not being a duck got a chuckle from her, "Yeah they're a bit cuter", she winked to, hopefully, show she meant no offense.

She was content to just watch from the water until the latest arrival!

They were maybe being a bit unfair to the poor...uh well she hadn't gotten a name for the creature who apparently stunk and couldn't recall off hand.

Moana helped sooth it, though, by walking over to greet the creature. Rather than get/stay in to avoid being hit with stink, as Tito suggested, Andrina got out, tail transforming to legs and her T-shirt and purple shorts in a way she'd stopped paying attention to, it happened so often.

She stayed a few paces back, just in case the skunk was nervous, but listened as he spoke. He couldn't swim?

Andrina smiled reassuringly. "Oh, well no worries there, we'll teach ya!", she said, yet then glanced to Moana, maybe she was underestimating how much a land creature could learn to swim, though that was part of the idea of their pool party, to let anyone and everyone swim.

"Woah!", she next turned in surprise as Sisu landed. Somehow, without being told, she could tell she had something to do with water, recognizing the sort of look of a water creature, though she didn't give it much focus at the moment, just awestruck by her in general.

"And what are you, uh, sorry hope that's not rude". Then she added, "Do you swim?".

[Moana]

As Uncle Jumba called out, Moana stood and turned with a smile. She could see why Nani and Lilo liked him; he really was an eccentric relative but in a good way.

Moana also knew he had gathered up all of the variety of things he had all for her and her party idea (as he would think of it, perhaps forgetting Andrina's part also). "Uncle Jumba! Wow...that's great, thank-you", she smiled again in a very chief like manner, though the smile was also genuine since she was genuinely touched and amused.

He warned her that the creature they were near smelled. "Oh, I'm sure he doesn't right now", Moana diplomatically bent and picked him up to sooth. She knew Uncle Jumba could just be blunt; and honestly even if he did, she could handle a bit of stink for the comfort of all of her guests as this event she and Andrina were holding.

Not being able to swim was a bigger problem. Moana glanced back to Uncle Jumba, pondering asking about his floats, when Sisu arriving gave her the idea that maybe that was better!

"Hi Sisu", she smiled as she turned to her, "Andrina and I are hosting a swimming party", she answered, indicating the mermaid, who had by now gotten out of the water. "I...should have asked if you wanted to help too, I'm sorry, but I didn't know where you were staying".

Andrina asked Sisu if she swam, "And...are either of you any good at teaching it?", she added indicating the tiny skunk. She could also help teach him swimming skills, but trusted the two water dwellers to know more than her even. "We could maybe use one of Uncle Jumba's floats".

[Jumba Jookiba]

The bird corrected Jumba's overly specific naming of the 'buoyant water amusement' as swimming toys. "Yes, those", the alien smiled and nodded, not bothered by the correction. Nani had told him the actual name of things before also and he still just called everything whatever made the most sense to him.

"hmm...duck?", Jumba dropped the collection of pool toys he held, not looking to see if he dropped any on the little dog who was so close, and investigated if he had one of those, only catching that it was the one around him as the dog mentioned it.

"Ah! Yes! Here you are going!", removing the duck float, he walked over to offer it to Zazu for his use before turning back to Tito, "Lots of the squishy noodles" he answered, rummaging through, "And, um...other floaties still needing air". He pulled a deflated ring and began to attempt to blow it up. As he did such, he casually watched the mermaid and the dragon, intrigued by the one's transformation ability and the other's just shiny scales and flight.

Of course he knew better (by a bit) than to embarrass Moana by asking about it right now. Maybe he would fit it in later.

His floats seemed a big hit, and Jumba couldn't be more pleased with that! He chuckled, once he was done blowing up the tiny ring he held, and came over with it even as Mona said it might help. "Of course! This is looking like perfect size!". He tested to see if Flower would let him put the ring around his middle to try out and see if it fit.

Zazu responded with his same dry tone, "Not a quality that I am inclined to improve." he blinked at the canine's comments, but soon enough the comparison would be apt as he would find himself handed an inflatable bird! He sighed, and batted it into the water with his beak, perching on the left side of it, using his wings like a sail, in a way, to keep himself close to the shore. Were he anyone else it would look like fun!

"Yes, this... fish-woman would be the ideal teacher." he said, not intending offense with his description of her. He gazed at the dragon shortly thereafter. "The real question is what are you?!" he exclaimed. He could tell the skunk was on the shy side, but felt no need to apologize on behalf of the dog.

Tito watched the skunk, nervous around him even if he didn't seem aggressive, and maintaining his distance. Though he smiled as Moana suggested otherwise, and went over to help. If she wanted to risk it, that was all good! She seemed the type to know what to do if she did get skunked. While he wasn't as friendly as he normally was, he was at the least not mean!

He looked up at the dragon, "A dragon!?" he exclaimed. "A... water dragon!?" he added a bit of detail, at the least there. "I thought the talking rooster was going to be the most exotic thing at the party, guess I was wrong." he chuckled, happy to see what new people he would be meeting, that was for sure!

[Namaari]

Namaari approached the shore, careful to hold herself in a way that proclaimed a confidence she didn't actually feel. Since her arrival, she had learned the basics concerning this strange new land: it was a mystical world filled with inconceivable marvels, and there was no known way out. At least not yet; if anyone could find a way, Namaari was certain it would be she herself.

In the meantime, she must live. She'd rented a room to sleep in and begun to explore her surroundings, and those explorations had brought her here.

Namaari stood proudly, surveying the area with level gaze and paying scant attention to the native gathering nearby. Perhaps a boat of some kind could escape in this direction, sailing out to sea.

[Flower]

Flower felt comfortable in the all-human female’s hands when he got picked up in them by her. With the skunk in her hands, he felt that he was now protected from the dog and the four-eyed creature completely, even though they didn’t seem to mean any harm.

While up in the all-human female’s hands, the kit watched from up there what was happening with the half-human/half-fish female. He was surprised to see that she became an all-human female when she got out of the water.

“Gee, thank you,” he said coyly to her after being reassured that he would be taught how to swim, and he went on to ask her about the change she just went through. “How did you do that?”

Flower then looked over to see that another all-human female and a creature he never saw before which he heard the dog call a dragon came over. The skunk didn’t know how most others would usually think of a dragon like how most others would usually think of a skunk and how he and all the animals in the forest which he came from would usually think of a dog, but he thought that the dragon was very friendly and pretty.

There were many questions. Though the first that came to mind was simple: What was she? Although the small canine blurted out the answer, Sisu followed up. "Yup, I am a water dragon! There are many more where I came from. Though they are all trying to get used to coming back after being away for 500 or so years." She let out a slight chuckle, "Hi, my name is Sisu. Great to meet everyone!"

"Do you swim?"

"Can I swim? Oh, I CAN SWIM! I am brave in the wave. When I stroke, you get soaked. I got motion in the ocean!" Sisu soon caught herself, "I mean that, yes I'm a - I'm a good swimmer. Great swimmer. I was trying to say that through rhyme."

Sisu then looked to the little skunk, "And of course I can teach! Specially for this small fella. Aww, look at that small nose. And I love the pattern."

The water dragon surveyed everyone, taking note. There was Moana, the lady who apparently had a fin once, but now had legs. There were the three animals, one being a bird just floating on a floating thing. What was that thing anyway? Also there was the bigger purple guy who had four eyes. She couldn't help but stare a bit as she couldn't figure which eyes to focus on. She caught herself though, finding it rude. And as her gaze drifted, she spotted someone else who was observing the area a bit away. Black hair, a beige tank top, a gold belt....

"Wait....is that...? That looks like..." Sisu leaned closer for a better look....there was no mistaking the person. She gasped, "Namaari!"

The dragon ran off to greet the other Kumandrian. Yes, it was her! "Namaari! Oh, it really is you! And here I thought I was the only one from Kumandra! Did you just arrive? If so, how long ago, because I've been here for a bit."

[Namaari]

And then Namaari heard her name called. She turned toward the sound; who in this place even knew her name? And there was...

"Sisu." She breathed the name like a prayer. All dragons were awe-inspiring to Namaari, but Sisu was still the pinnacle.

Namaari instantly adapted the pose of respect and humility, hands forming a circular shape, resting on her forehead, eyes bowed toward the ground.

The dragon, true to form, was more boisterous than reverent.

Did you just arrive?

"Yes, only a few days ago. I'm...having a little trouble navigating the ways of this country." She had found a lodging, but the architecture was too bizarre to make it comfortable, mentally, at least. But when she ran out of coin, then what would she do?

[Andrina]

The sight of Zazu paddling in his toy was too precious! Andrina tactfully (for once) didn't say so though, and also since she had plenty else to focus on. She didn't take any offense, even if he had meant it, to his just accurate title of fish-woman. Andrina was also curious what the newcomer was, but waited for her to answer it from Zazu's asking, though Tito took care of that as well. Water Dragon, hmm, she hadn't heard those two words put together like that and Dragon in and of itself was new.

Andrina chuckled with Tito, "Oh no, I've seen more exotic, Moana's uncle there included", she gave the alien a smile to hopefully alleviate insult as she said this. Not to mention the old woman who had seemed old beyond belief.

The little...skunk had he been called...asked about her transformation. Most did. "Neat isn't it?", she began with asking, "And I'm not quite sure. I couldn't do it back home, was just a mermaid, but here the parks seemed to make transitioning from the ocean to land very easy. I'm not quite sure why, but I enjoy it".

Speaking of the newcomer and swimming, she did not need any help it seemed. Andrina chuckled at her slightly long-winded answer and as she semi-explained it. "I liked it! And great! Maybe we can race in the water!".

But first, it seemed, came Sisu introducing the next newcomer, as well as greeting her. Andrina, never shy, had still been raised a princess of Atlantica, if the second to youngest, and so was used to letting others (and at times of more rank) take over and that seemed to apply here. Both because Sisu already knew her and also, as her own father's firstborn Moana actually outranked her, though telling her such of her own thoughts had never come up.

Sisu garnered attention, as was to be expected. Moana just smiled as she watched her answer in her unique way, especially to Andrina asking if she swam! There were facts for Moana to take in as well, and since she hadn't asked too in depth on Sisu's history, it always seeming out of place, so she listened as well as the dragon explained on how there were more dragons back home but they were all only just now used to coming back. It sounded reminiscent of Te Fiti in a way.

As Sisu finished her explanation, Moana noticed a new arrival as well, and turned, but Sisu beat her to any greetings by a familiar one that showed she knew her. Moana just watched, letting them get their preliminary greetings and questions out.

The other, Namaari as Sisu called her, bowed...had Moana been treating the dragon with the respect she deserved? She didn't come from Sisu's world so she didn't know. At least Sisu hadn't seemed insulted even if Moana had messed up perhaps.

The chief's daughter next approached, holding out a hand as she'd become familiar with in greeting around here, "Welcome, it's nice to see Sisu meet someone she knows, um, I'm Moana. Daughter of Chief Tui. Of Motunui". There was something about this other woman that made Moana feel it was proper to give every title she owned.

Per their discussion it seemed Namaari had settled in quite fine, but still Moana would get around to offering any further aid that might be needed. "Um, how recent of an arrival are you?". She spoke in a knowing way about the occurrence.

[Jumba Jookiba]

The little birdie sighed, but didn't fully disapprove of the float, since he paddled about in it! Jumba watched, as pleased at a pool float he chose working so well as one of his inventions! Ok maybe a bit under that but still close!

Though he really did think he was pulling off the whole 'in disguise' thing well, and was in truth only as concealed as a 'normal earth uncle' as much as he ever was (not much) he grinned and gave the fish woman friend of Moana a thumbs up as she called him odd.

She meant the non-alien type of odd obviously.

The little skunk didn't fight Jumba putting on the float so he soon stood back with it laying far too big around the kit, "There now you can swim!", he was unaware the little kit would have more luck alone...

Namaari was not sorry to see Sisu; at least there was someone here with whom she could communicate.

She ventured to ask, "I was thinking there might be a way to escape this place by water. If I may ask a boon, as a water dragon, it would be easy for you to discover such a passage."

Their conversation had hardly begun when they were approached by two foreign girls not much younger than Namaari, if she was any judge. She couldn't help noting they were not armed.

"Greetings," answered Namaari with an inclination of the head. So this one was a princess.

"Only a few days. It takes some getting used to. But I will adapt." Her answers were somewhat stiff, restrained.

Although she did not mention it, Namaari also took in the large creature some distance away. What was it? Something utterly unknown to her.
