Last night was a crazy one for Boots, as he got kidnapped by Fat Cat and his gang, got distracted by a few things of interest on the way back to the laboratory, helped the Rescue Rangers save one of the members of the team, Dale, from Fat Cat’s minions, and reuniting with his best friend, Kookoo, as the gorilla was saving Lady Clutchcoin from falling off a building. It was a good thing that it was all over, the young feline was taken home to the laboratory, and he got enough sleep that night before he just woke up again.
Today, Boots was out on the street…again. He was also separated from Kookoo…again. He also saw that the place he just found himself in looked nothing like New York City. This place looked colorful and cheerful; it did look like someplace that would really catch the kitten’s interest. There was also something in this place that really caught his interest, and it was something he knew that Kookoo would like: flowers.
”Kookoo would love this place,” the kitten said, looking very happy at the sight of the flowers. “There’s a lot of flowers over there, and Kookoo loves flowers.”
The flowers Boots just saw were many feet away from him, but he was determined to get to them, so he started making his way to them. Somewhere between the flowers and the spot which he just started walking from were tracks for a streetcar pulled by a horse, which was heading into his direction without his knowledge. Fortunately for the young feline, he was able to make it past the tracks just before the horse pulling the streetcar could reach him.
Having been lucky that he was still alive and completely unharmed, Boots continued making his way to the field of flowers. It took him four or five minutes to get to the flowers, and when he got to them, he reached out his front right paw and formed it into a fist around a tall, yellow flower to grab it.
”These flowers are really pretty,” he said, and he smelled the flower that he just grabbed.
