Disney’s been promising for a while now that they’ll have some Real CoolTM Stuff for their 100th anniversary, and it looks like they’ve finally delivered.

It’s called the Disney Animation Immersive Experience, apparently a successor to a 3-d immersive Van Gough exhibit. Like the Parks, it features projection mapping video and interactive guest accessories, in this case wristbands.
The best preview I’ve been able to find is this one, from the Cleveland version:
The official trailer’s here, but I actually like this one better— this is the video that made me want to go ^^ (not really sure why this is the first regional commercial that comes up in video searches through both Google and DuckDuckGo since it looks like the Toronto one runs earlier, but I digress).
It looks so cool: a walk through museum-like queue, the video mapping combined with sounds and lights to put you “into the movie”— even the floor responds! (And of course there’s a gift shop at the end. XD).
I especially love the Hall of Characters myself— I never get tired of seeing rough sketches.
The bad thing is it’s a limited run for a limited time... and it's only coming to these cities: Boston, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Nashville, San Antonio, and Toronto. (Even the closest of those is a bit of a drive for me. D:)
I intend to go when it gets to my town-- already bought the tickets in fact. They come in 3 tiers: Basic for ~$48.00, Premium Plus (which includes the interactive wrist band, a print, and a quote "Lighthouse Immersive cushion to borrow") for ~$57.00, and VIP (which includes not only the ticket, wrist band, and print, but also Skip The Line, a VIP Souvenir Laminate, Guest Concierge Service, and you get to keep one of those "Lighthouse Immersive Cushions") for ~$90.00. For $4.99 you can can make your tickets "flex." There's also discounts for groups of 4 or more, and discounts for groups of 10 or more. (Apparently you can also pay extra to get souvenir tickets sent to your house in additional to the digital tickets).
What do you guys think?
