{The above tagged are otherwise known as Ernesto's Chihuahuas }
Pepita had been walking along, minding her own business when she saw it! She was walking the streets of this main shopping district of the area on another of her low-key scouting missions she did when Imelda and the other Riveras were settled and didn't seem to need her at the given moment. Imelda was running her shop, Coco was telling some small children another story around the Mexico Pavilion as she loved to do (even if most of the adults thought she was an actress doing a bit) and that boy, Mateo, had found something interesting that he was showing Rosa.
It was sad Héctor wasn't here anymore to overthink that last; but that was also in line with what Pepita's mission was. Or had been.
As a smart Alebrije, Pepita felt she knew what had happened. He had gone back home. Not that she would say this if Antonio ever translated for her. though she knew the others of the family knew it too. Even if no one said it as yet.
Still...walking some of the streets of the Park and peeking in shops to make sure she knew first if he made a reappearance, and could guide him back to Imelda, was Pepita's new side mission.
So, she had walked in a shop where she heard someone say 'Coco stuff was', in case that had drawn Héctor as well.
She hadn't seen the skeleton, but she had seen a shirt bearing the image of the Rivera's Number One Enemy! Ernesto de la Cruz. As well as a plush of him! Right next to a plush of Héctor in case insult needed injury!
Waiting for a break in both guests and Cast Members, the cat had snagged the plush and take it outside before coming back and waiting for a lunch break to snag the shirt off the hanger and drag it out the door.
Not to keep. She was currently around the side of the building in the middle of destroying both. The shirt was ripped and the cat now held the plush Ernesto between her paws, claws stuck in his stomach, and was working patiently at ripping his cloth face up.
