charrie basics.[/ul]
age: 3 years
species: African Lion
birthplace: Pride Rock, Africa
movie: The Lion King, The Lion King 2, The Lion King 1/2
title:
A wise king once told me, "We are one."
why: I chose the very famous Simba because the movie, The Lion King, was released on my birth year. Not only that, but it happened to be one of my favorite movies when I was younger, and I fell in love with the Character Simba. He was so ambitious, courageous, enthusiastic, and everything that I was like as a little girl. He was also a diverse character, being an active, adventerous cub, and then growing up to be a majestic lion that was a little too laid back and irresponsible (Until Nala came).
I picked specifically the grown up Simba for the reason that he is so proud of what he has done. Became mates with Nala, had the rebelious Kiara, and was leading a pride in which he grew up with. He had always had his downfalls, but would admit his faults every time near the end of the films he was in, making him a more realistic character to me.

charrie appearance[/ul]
Could be technically called hair- His mane, which is a flaming auburn red, wraps around his whole head. It frames his face beautifully, and is extremely thick and produces a very leader-like look. It has a slight wave to it, and can become a bit tangled, but Simba often cleans it to avoid the mats that it may create.
facial description/mood expressions:
His head, which is very masculine, holds a wide snout and deep crimson rose nose, with a collection of four black whiskers on either side. His ears rarely show through his lusious auburn mane, but are rounded at the tips and a rum brown on the insides. His eyes are a very definite feature on his face, and are highlighted on the top with black, thin eyebrows, and a brow of a doe brown. Beneath his deep cinnamon eyes is the same sand beige as his under belly.
His expressions are predictable, being a lion, he can't make too too many. His main expression is rather a smirk planted on his big ol' mouth, or a wise/intelligent twinkle in his eyes as he seems to have nothing moving on his face.
clothing style:
N/A
body build:
Muscular and broad. He's 6 ft long (Head to tail) and his tail is about 35.5 inches long. He weighs around 365 lbs, most being a packed form of muscle.
any unique traits (optional) :
A very powerful and near-deafening roar.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough, about 2 sentences)[/ul]
Simba is a very royal being, seeing the equality in most, and attempts hard to keep things in line. He has long swatted away his adventerous, cocky side, and has developed into being a down-to-earth male. He puts his trust into his friends, and seeks them for counsel when trying to make a difficult decision that could affect himself, or those he loves. He follows his heart and instincs, never betraying them, but will occasionally mis-judge someone for their past or up-bringing. However, if he makes a mistake, and finally realizes the truth of the matter, or the right thing he should've done before, he will admit his mistake and sincerely apologize
history:
Simba, struggled to find his place in nature's "circle of life" and didn't know how to follow in the regal paw prints of his father, the great King Mufasa. Simba suffers dearly after his father is killed by his treacherous uncle, Scar. Scar, who was greedy and wanted the King title, convinced Simba that he is responsible for his father's death and warned him to run far away from the Pride Lands and never return. Depressed, terrified and guilt-stricken, Simba went into exile, where he befriended a gassy but warm-hearted warthog, Pumbaa, and his fself-centered meerkat companion, Timon. Simba adopted their "hakuna matata" (no worries) attitude toward life, living on a diet of bugs and taking things one day at a time as Simba matured into a young adult. When his childhood friend, Nala, arrived to the jungle, he is persuaded to return to the Pride Lands, which had fallen into a rough and wretched time due to Scar's reign, and take his rightful place as king. The wise shaman mandrill, Rafiki, told Simba that his father's spirit lives on in him, and proces it by his father's spirit speaking to Simba. Simba learned that he must accept his responsibility, and when he returned, he managed to defeat Scar and an army of hyenas to become the Lion King.
Simba and Nala become mates and King and Queen of the Pride lands. Together they created Kiara, who will be the Queen after the passing of her parents. Simba was over protective of the young female cub, and after allowing her to do her first hunt, finds that she was caught up in a fire which was produced by Kovu, Zira's son and Scar's only cub. Kovu and Kiara fall into a affectionate relationship, which Simba wasn't too pleased about, and the all in all happening of the whole thing was that the Outsiders and the Simba's Pride get in a huge battle, which is stopped by both Kovu and Kiara.
His pride and the outsiders unite as one, Zira being banned from their lands, and remaining a loner. His pride was doing well, as was his mate Nala and his daughter with her new love. He actually believed that he'd finally got away from disasters and destruction, but was suddenly pulled to a unfamilar land, and became a flesh and bone Lion.
ambitions:
He has accomplished most of his goals in life, but he wishes to spread his knowledge and wisdom to others, sharing the true meaning of life and letting all know that it is better to be true to yourself and take things head-on, rather than be laid-back and let life pass you by.
strengths && abilities:
Being a lion, he's massively strong. He is capable of keeping his pride and remaining true to his heart and word no matter what. He won't turn back on a promise he made to anyone.
Since he is feline, he can jump very large distances, and announce his presence with a deafening roar, growl, grunt, or hiss. That, or the opposite, he can stalk like a spy, silent as the night air.
flaws:
He puts his trust in who he believes is his friends, making him sometimes vulernable.
Simba is famous for judging a character for their past doings or they family they were brought up with.
likes:
Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Zebra/Gazelle meat.
dislikes:
Battles, Zira, Dishonesty, Hyenas.
fears:
The death/loss of both Kiara and Nala.
Kovu disregarding his trust for him and actually killing him.
Elephant Graveyards/Skeletons
Embers/Ashes
Wildebeest
what makes this character unique:
Despite having lost himself, he regained his true personality and took control of a situation he believed he couldn't.
RP SAMPLE: ----
Carmella watched as the one person she had ever adored glanced around awkwardly, as if paranoid from being stared at, or confused with her direction of stare. Then again, she was pretty convinced that Ashton hadn't had his fair share of random strippers looking at him with a dumbfounded expression. Her mouth jerked itself closed after a long process of thinking about actually doing it. The dryness consumed her, burning her tongue and throat like acid as she kept her stare steady on him, eyes beginning to reshape. Her heart, however, remained at that breakneck speed, picking up more ground when he finally got up and made his way towards her, only to keep his distance at a few feet.
His words, that voice, it just carried over the music like her own melodic lullaby. It hadn't changed, and every bit of her wanted to quiver as it entered her ears. Though, when she finally decided to understand his words, comprehend them fully, the rapid beating and her utmost joy went up in steel blue flames. He didn't remember her, he didn't. . . remember her? Hurt took it's mercilessly deep stabs at her, until her intelligence rode in on a horse and took it down, filling her with self-hatred. It was because she looked nothing like his memory would've imprinted her as. She was stranger to herself in the mirror, so how could he possibly recognize her? The outstanding downfall of her choice to replace her disfigured natural beauty. All she wanted to do now was go running to the bathroom and shred the mask she had created, seeing if she could reveal the face in the old photographs. Of course, that would be impossible.
At a breath taking speed, she swam back to the surface of the situation. He had mentioned her taking a break, and him being there for someone to speak to. Carmella's chance to explain to him who she was. Then again. . . did she really want to expose herself to him again? Her raw sensitive emotions that she had buried away since leaving him? It was her choice to abandon him that night, to take off to rehab. . . never even bothering to contact Ashton as she had a miscarriage with is own children. It was all her choice. . . so what if she did tell him she was really Carmella Heart? Would he leave then? The thoughts and scenarios poured thickly in her head, playing like a nightmare, never turning out the way she wanted them to. It had been two years since she was with him, that meant someone must've scooped him up. Why would he be in Vegas by himself? It didn't make sense. Then again, maybe he was searching for her. . . but that was doubtful. Frustration boiled, peaking to it's high as she settled her nerves to make her capable of forming words, "Uhm. . . well. . I can't really go about in this, if you're talking about outside" She gestured at her figure, really trying to hint that her shreds of fabric weren't the best choice for outdoors at night. "My change is in the backrooms, and I can't really get dressed until the end of my shift" She was forced to raise her glass voice so it could be heard over the tumbles of music. Secretly, Carmella hoped he'd catch a memory from her voice, but at the same time wished to keep it sounding a bit different in tone. She didn't know whether to be Carmella right now, or Isis.
