Come on, we all know that there are some attractions that Disney had in the past. Attractions that were, unfortunately, replaced by something else..
Disney is known for having some very awesome attractions.. However, there comes a time where they have to replace said attraction with something else..
Even if those attractions were replaced, they still remain in our hearts and always will. Gone, but definitely not forgotten..
Here is a thread dedicated to some of the various attractions that Disney used to have before they got replaced..
Videos? Go for it..
Here are some of the attractions that I mourn for..
1. Legend of theHorned Lion King
Unfortunately, I couldn't resist putting that strikethrough in there, what with roleplaying as the Horned King and all.. ;D
On a more serious note, I grew up watching the Lion King when I was but a mere Lion Cub. One of the various attractions that I remember when I went too Walt Disney World for the first time was a show that they once had called 'Legend of the Lion King'.
Wow! That's some good memory, because I was little!
Unlike the show at Animal Kingdom, this one was a puppet show.
The Lion King holds a special place in my heart, because, as I said, I grew up with that movie, and was heartbroken to find out that it had been replaced by Mickey's Philharmagic.
Here is a video showing the Legend of the Lion King

2. The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter
This one, I've had the honor of being on.. Once.. And it was with the one person(Who shall remain nameless) that is the last person I would ever want to be with..
However, it has become one of those things that I will always remember being on. I can honestly say, I'm glad I got the chance to see it once, before it eventually got replaced by "Stitch's Great Escape!"
Basically, the attraction involves you sitting down, strapped down in you're seat, while a winged alien flies around.. In the dark.. Looking to sink it's fangs into the flesh of some unsuspecting guest..
Welcome to the happiest place on earth. ;D
I guess one of the reasons why it was closed down(and eventually replaced) was because the PARENTS ignored the signs outside, warning that the attraction is not suitable for young ones(ExtraTERRORestrial)..
Also features Tim Curry, who does the voice of S.I.R, an Animatronic on the attraction.. ;D

Part 2
3. Tarzan Rocks
Or Rocked..
Tarzan Rocks was one of those shows where you would be sitting out in 90-some degrees temperature(And seeing Tarzan himself didn't help much! Woof woof!), but once the singing starts up, it immediately sends goosebumps through you're whole body.
I can't really understand why they replaced it with a musical based on Finding Nemo.. It's.. Not even a musical..
I honestly think it was very stupid of them to replace this with a musical based on a non-musical movie. However, there are some that prefer the Finding Nemo musical, and that is fine. But for those who are curious for Tarzan Rocks..

Part 3
4. The Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour
The Mystery Tour itself seemed very unique for a Disney Attraction. Aside from Fantasmic, no attraction ever featured the Disney Villains in such a large role.. And it was kinda funny seeing someone else as the Big-Bad. Usually, that honor fell to Maleficent, but no. The honor of being the Big-Bad of said attraction was given to another Horned Fiend.. Who is not as well known as many of the other villains before him..
Mind you, I don't speak Japanese, so I have no clue what everyone is saying. However, I do seem to understand what is going on..
Tourists are being led through the Cinderella Castle, taking on what seems like a friendly tour at first, until they are suddenly confronted by the Magic Mirror.
You see, when the tour guide led the guests into a chamber featuring portraits of some of Disney's Protagonists, the Magic Mirror confronted them and told them that they are false heroes. The true heroes? None other then the Disney Villains..
Then a secret door opens up, leading the guests down dark tunnels and dungeons, going through the Wicked Queen's Lab and facing Chernabog and Maleficent. But as I said before: The main villain is not Maleficent. Nope.. This time, the big-bad is the Horned King!
When facing the Horned King, someone in the audience is given the honor of wielding a magic sword and defeating him..
Despite the message that "Good Conquers Evil", I can't help but to side with the Magic Mirror and the other Disney Villains.. THOSE are the true heroes! Dang it..
Never been too Tokyo Disneyland, but seeing the videos? I can honestly say I am disappointed that they closed the attraction down. Partly because it was the only attraction to have ever featured the Horned King. That and the fact that villains rule..
Someday, HoKi. Someday..

Part 2
And last, but definitely not least..
5. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
This is another show that sent goosebumps through you're body while sitting around in the hot, humid weather of Florida. FABULOUS show! The singing, the acting.. It was enough to make you forget the humidity! ;D I can't think of anything to say that would do the show justice, except.. "Why did you close it!?"
Here is the show, in all it's glory
So, how about you? What sort of attractions do you miss? Or wish you could have been on before it closed..
