Hey, howdy, hey! The name's SAGE, and I wished upon a star from my memory. My other imaginary friends include Rapunzel and friends. Aladar and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: Aladar
Age: In human years, he would probably be just five or six years old. Maturity wise, he would be considered to be in his late teens, perhaps early 20s.
Species: Iguanodon
Birthplace: Lemur Island
Movie: Dinosaur
Custom title: not quite lemur, not quite dinosaur
Why: Actually, I really don't know. Dinosaur was one of those movies I remember really well from my childhood. I distinctly recall watching it in third grade (and I mimicked Aladar's bellow and got a dirty look from my teacher...) Anyway, I think a dinosaur would be a very interesting addition to WoD.
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: Aladar has no hair, but he does have scales (which are described under clothing, rather than hair).
Facial description/mood/expressions: Aladar's face is rather expressive, for a dinosaur. He smiles, frowns, and exhibits many other expressions for his emotions.
Clothing style: Aladar is a dinosaur, and he doesn't wear clothes. His scales range from a blue-green to a gray-tan, with the blue and green covering most of his back and his legs. The gray-tan covers the treat of his body, most noticeably his stomach and mouth.
Body build: Aladar is built like the rest of his species. He walks on four legs and has an elongated neck and a lengthy tail. Like all Iguanodons, he has three primary toes on each foot, with two supplementary toes on each front foot that don't quite reach the ground. One is similar to a human's thumb, and is flexible enough to pick up things like food. The other is firmer, more of a spike, and is used defensively. In human terms, Aladar stands at around 9 feet tall when on all fours. He easily passes 15 feet when he stands on his hind legs.

History:
Aladar grew up as the only dinosaur on Lemur Island, but he grew up well. He was loved by those lemurs he was closest to: his "grandfather" Yar, his "mother" Plio, his "brother" Zini and "sister" Suri. He assisted in the lemurs' annual mating ritual, serving as the self-proclaimed ride for the "buffet table of love". One year, after the ritual, Aladar and his family watched a meteor fall from the sly and strike the world, bringing destruction to Lemur Island. Aladar's size and speed saved his family. The five of them were the only ones from Lemur Island to survive.
They wandered, encountering a troupe of raptors along the way. The raptors gave way to a dust storm, or so it appeared. The dust came from a large herds of dinosaurs on their way to the nesting ground, a beautiful, far-off place where the herd could mate and be safe. The trouble was getting there. Led by Kron, the herd moved slowly but was pushed relentlessly.
Aladar fell in at the end of the herd, along with Baylene, Eema, and Url, who were the slowest of the herd. He made friends with them, even going so far as to try to convince Kron to slow down the herd so the three of them could keep up. Kron refused. At Kron's side, and in disagreement with him, was Neera, another Iguanodon and Kron's sister. She seemed impressed by Aladar's bravery.
After a long, tense march through scorching sand, and a battle with the fierce Carnotaur, Aladar and the herd arrived at the nesting ground. Aladar mated with Neera, and became a father. His lemur family found another lemur clan at the nesting grounds, and everything was as it should be.
Ambitions: to survive, to be a good father, to be a good mate for Neera
Strengths & abilities: natural leader, kind, merciful, compassionate, refusal to give up in difficult situations
Flaws: compulsion to defend/help those weaker than him, occasionally acts without thinking through his actions completely
Likes: Neera, lemurs (more specifically Yar, Plio, Zini, and Suri), playing with Suri, swimming,
Dislikes: injustice, cruelty, children (especially the fuzzy ones)
Fears: Carnotaurs, meteors, fire
