Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's MAGGIE, and I wished upon a star from Advertisements when I did. My other imaginary friends include HAMISH/HUBERT/HARRIS. FALINE and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: Faline
Age: 1 year
Species: White-Tail Deer
Birthplace: forests of America
Movie: Bambi
Custom title: Fawn & Friend
Why:
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: No hair, really, short brown fur. Still has her baby fawn-spots.
Facial description/mood/expressions: "doe-eyed" bright blue eyes which express much of where the expression comes from. Often widened either in interest or, perhaps, fear and caution, Faline's ears will give you further clue to which as they either swing back flat or out full and interested.
Clothing style: NA
Body build: Slender and slight both with youth and just the natural build of deer. Faline is still more so the other and "all knees" perhaps with her legs taking up more proportion than they will as she grows. These are useful for darting away quickly, though, as all deer need the skills with but especially young fawns and for when her mother is not nearby.

History:
The Meadow was a big step for Faline as well, and while she was torn between darting off eagerly as well and an ingrained sense of caution, she mostly stuck right by her mother as they made their way along and until she was told to wait at the edge of safety as well before being given the all clear, then she darted off her own self to startle insects. She also startled a frog (unknowingly into the young Prince Bambi's path) and yet darted just as quickly away from it rather than investigating like the prince did. She soon enough spotted the Young Prince and eager and cautious both, made her way over to peer curiously at him even as he peered at his reflection and took a while to notice her. She eagerly gave chase with a giggle, not even actually knowing he was the Young Prince of the forest everyone talked about until her mother told her later. She did find him cute in a little girl way, though, and had fun lightly teasing him and getting him to chase her about until the stags interrupted, and even then she just curiously watched from a distance and until her mother nudged her on home to their part of the ticket as well.
Try as she might over the next months and as the air grew chiller, she could never quite catch sight of Bambi again or effect another all out meeting and yet as Autumn and Winter came, Faline wondered a bit if she hadn't been a bit too high-strung and especially as maturity slowly tempered her erratic giggles and darting. Part way through the Winter news reached her that Bambi's mother had been shot and his father The Great Prince was going to look after him of all things! It was certainly big news and the first she'd heard of any buck ever doing such, but then it made sense of their Great Prince she supposed.
She saw Bambi again still within that Winter but as the snow seemed to try to let up and they all went to see the groundhog and find out for sure if Spring was on it's way. All the time leading up to she'd gone over what condolences she meant to give the Young Prince over his mother and yet as she shyly walked back up to startle him yet again, but unintentionally, she didn't say any of them oddly, just Hi and a light tease she'd almost not recognized him. Thank-goodness for Thumper taking the save a bit when Bambi mentioned his antlers he didn't quite have yet. Faline was cheered to see Bambi gave her another shot at an interaction and so she could prove her giggling had tempered a bit. Unfortunately along with the good news the groundhog had of Spring coming, that time brought with it a new acquaintance, Ronno, an older buck-fawn who not only teased Bambi in a meaner way than she had (not to mention the poor groundhog!) but made up stories (she was sure) on having seen Man and beat him. Stories he kept following her about to tell. Until Bambi boldly (for him) backed her up and told Ronno to leave her be, surprising all three of them! While still figuring out her own feelings at this transitional sort of stage, she knows she's rather fond of the Young Prince yet now she's awoken in a strange place without him, Thumper, Flower or her mother and is trying to make the best of it.
Ambitions: Find her way back, stay safe and yet possibly make friends while she is here.
Strengths & abilities: Quick, good hearing and sense of smell. Kind and makes friends easily more or less.
Flaws: Her young age and small size. Fact that she's more likely to run than face something.
Likes: Sunny days. Rainy days too, light showers without the thunder. Spring, plenty of grass. She's rather fond of the Young Prince too...as a friend of course
Dislikes: Danger. Thunder and loud sounds. Ronno.
Fears: Man, Dogs, Guns, Larger dangerous seeming animals. Something happening to those she cares about.
