It was perhaps to be viewed as "only a matter of time", both the good that they boys were unaware was about to come as well as their having found this place within the larger place of this land of Clan Walt...not a strong name but the Walts had amassed a pretty impressive looking kindgom for themselves all in all.
Still, their father was better by far and Hamish in particular couldn't help scanning the whole of the land as "alright but not home", probably how everyone who kept saying and talking of their being "stuck" felt. He must have had magic on his side, this ruler of of the Walt Clan and...
...and maybe anything like conspiracy would threaten if a five year old attention span didn't actually in fact not care if anything was "going on". Anyway the wooden areas felt more familar to the three trouble-making youths and they were drawn to stick about even without fully realizing this tendency. Not that the unknown wasn't also interesting for being such!
The greatest thing about this particular place, or currently considered such with the three young princes of Dunbroch's clan, was that they left torches (which the boys readily recognized!) unattended! Just in the ground!
The idea of a sword fight with such or even just the smaller ones about the castle hallways had hit the lads before, but their mother always curbed the idea. Arguably the bigger ones were harder to handle, so Hamish, Hubert and Harris all three had to give their attention to handling one until they could find lighter and smaller wood to light!
The tourist type people vacating any area the three happened to be in and quickly was a familiar sight by now and not that different to back home either, really.
"I dun' know why the' gotta scream...", Hubert watched as a pair rushed off, "It's not like we're settin' them a' fire", the three giggled, though they were not truly evil and so would never actually do such a thing...on purpose.
