This getting used to being human thing was not so easy to get used to, honestly Andrina didn't know how Ariel did it, or had when she'd had to and at first. The ex-mermaid had to believe walking was aided a bit by that odd magic that had apparently zapped her here along with so many others, she'd just picked it up so seemingly easily.
Or maybe it was just her. Andrina was only kidding, to herself this time.
She hadn't been able to see or speak with Ariel much since she went and got married to a human prince, yet it had seemingly been the same for her sister as well. She had to wonder if shopping was the same in Eric's kingdom though as this strange place. It was definately different than under the sea, that was for sure!
For one thing, the styles! Andrina was still learning what constituted "good taste" human-wise, but even without cultural understanding she could spot out some of the garish or just plain silly when she saw it. The thought that she could change up her outfit was not unheard of, even for mermaids, but a bit more "why bother" between mermaids.
Only such as her flashy ex-governess had full on closets of clothes.
Still Andrina gave this "shopping" thing a whirl, just to say she had, though she was convinced the hat she left out of one store with, with two bags of other things she probably didn't need on her arms as well, was completely over the top. Plucking it off, she gave it another look as she stepped out on the streets once more. "Yikes, a thing like that wouldn't even stay on in the water...". Andrina debated just tossing it but, eh, why not maybe if her sisters showed up here too she could pass it off on one of them.
