After several days of staying with Little John at the fish counter restaurant at the United Kingdom Pavilion, Patch was taken to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where he and the bear could comfortably stay in when their day in the park was done. When the Dalmatian pup and the big, brown bear first entered the room that they were going to be staying in that place, the former knew what most of the things in it were and had to explain to the latter what those things were and how they worked, such as the lights, the plug outlets, and everything in the bathroom, as the latter came from a time period where all those things didn’t exist yet. There was also a television in the room, and Patch knew what a television was and how it worked (in terms of how to use it), but the television here was different from any televisions he ever saw back in his own time, so he had no clue how the television in the room worked.
Since staying in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Patch slept with Little John in the only bed in the room every night, ate different kinds of food that the bear bought with the money he made from his cooking job other than fish at the small table every morning and evening, and was let outside to play and check out new places in the park all day every morning when the bear started making his way to work. Right now was the time that the Dalmatian pup was let outside for the day. The little, spotted canine was happy and very fortunate to have Little John as his temporary “pet”.
Speaking of “pets”, while Patch was enjoying his day outside, the thought of what Bolt said to him about that word days before entered his mind, and he had a hard time deciding whether or not to reconsider how he and his family referred to those who kept them and took care of them. However, he decided in the end to shake that thought out of his head and not let it ruin his day.
