"You didn't tell me it would be located here..." Jasiri complained. "This is like the Outlands of the parks..." she groaned, at least there were other things besides abandoned nightclubs. Like abandoned restaraunts and stores... she could work with it. "I did teach cubs there but um..." she stopped in place, putting her paw to her head. "Look it's amazing this is even happened..." she told herself. "We got everything we ordered, yes?"
"Of course, miss." her guide, a man in his thirties replied. "Such a thing simply had to be... out of the way."
She sighed, as she was led in. "As long as the inside is school-y." she sighed, and was led inside.
"This place was once The Neon Armadillo." her guide said, "Perhaps that could be your mascot." it was an idea, and it distracted her as she entered the fully renovated building.
The school had kept the structure of the club, while changing things, particularly lighting, to be more utilitarian. Bright and even enough to properly light the classrooms. While there were a few separate rooms, movable walls were used to further separate the open area to provide some classrooms. They were sufficient so long as nearby classes both kept reasonable volume.
The stage was covered by a curtain, which helped hide the aesthetic, and it had its uses in a school, or so Jasiri was told. She was not so sure, announcements were always done on high rocks, and performances took a lot more room. She felt it was just trying to get her to look past it.
It was now about 9am. Upon entering students would be greeted by the friendly face of the lovable hyena principal. Not the hyena herself, but an image, pointing to the first classroom on the right, with the word for those who could read reading "Orientation with Jasiri" The hyena herself would be in and out, with class scheduled to start at 9am.
The decor was certainly plain, but in a deliberate way, and it left many empty spaces to become a canvas as the school developed character, and in particular for a mascot to be plastered upon. Jasiri gulped at the thought as she passed by her image, and imagined it spread everywhere. "A neon armadillo doesn't sound so bad..." she chuckled.
