Negaduck's recent capture brings up a problem that's been around since the site began, namely the fact that there is no jail in the parks.
Most threads that end with a villain's defeat go no further; the bad guys just walk away with no consequences. But the addition of cop characters to our site makes me revisit this problem. Once a bad guy is beaten, do we have any alternative but to let him escape?
There are a few possibilities, some of which have been explored to some degree:
Slap crooks with a tracker cuff. This is what happened to Hans, but Negaduck was able to remove it.
Sentence law-breakers to community service. Mr. Toad has been there, though we never showed in a thread exactly how it turned out for him.
Create a jail. There is a cell in Fort Sam Clemens and a brig aboard the Sailing Ship Columbia in DL, if I'm not mistaken. Also the queue to Pirates of the Caribbean has a lot of dungeon-like rooms that could serve. There are several problems, though, namely the fact that guards would have to be posted 24/7, and these facilities aren't the most modern and humane, not to mention the lack of trial facilities.
House arrest. Lock criminals in a hotel room for the duration. If Lefou finds out about this, he might break the law on purpose.
I'll tell you right now that I'm leaning toward community service for any villains who are not fortunate enough to escape. If we go with any form of incarceration, then the bad guys will have to escape in order to join threads. Which means they'll be fugitives and won't get invited to parties and such any more.
Anyway, that's where I'm headed, but I'm giving everyone a chance to chime in with their opinions. I am open to suggestions.
