charrie basics.[/ul]
age: Twenty-four
species: Human
birthplace: Hawaii
movie: Lilo&Stitch, Litle&Stitch2
title: Hawaiian Princess
why: Funny thing is, when I started out on WoD, I was orignally going to apply for Mulan. But I then realized that Mulan was commonly played, and I had my doubts in doing her jusitice so I decided to play a less than perfect character. Not many dare to play an unattrative, thick-boned, rather plain gaurdian. The majority prefer to play the prettier characters...that's basically why I wanted to play her. She's fun anyway![/ul][/ul]
charrie appearance (about 5 sentences)[/ul]
facial description: Her face is curved in a circle deeply tanned to perfection. Her eyes are slant giving her a gentle look, but also adding to a ferocious glare if need be. Her plush lips are pink and round, complimenting her features beautifully, along with her faintly rosy cheeks.
mood expressions: Grumpy, usually, always with a scowl. However, if the conditions prove suitable she is always seen with a gentle smile.
clothing style: She wears four tops in the whole movie/series. There is one top in particular she favors that one being yellow with a little pink heart in the middle. If she is not seen in that, she usually wears a navy top. But if not seen in a navy top, you will find her wearing a multi-colored top (white/red). The one she uses rarely is the light blue top, something that goes along with some beige pants. All the other tops are matched up with shorts, though.
body build: She's ten times physically stronger, amazon-build and all the sass of a Hawaiian broad. Thick-boned, she looks thick compared to most Disney heroines. She also differs because of her sun-kissed tan and soft-looking roundness.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough, about 5 sentences)[/ul]
Nani is a bit different from the past heroines. She's ten times physically stronger, amazon-build and all the sass of a Hawaiian broad. And yet, because she is a mother figure to a whole family of misfits and has been forced to be so due to the heart-shattering death of her parents, she has, again, been forced to have a somewhat docile personality than what is normally expected from a young adult.
Nani lives by her crumbling sanity and flaring temper on the little island of Hawaii. Never a day where she can simply plop her feet on the table and lean back on the couch for some well-earned relaxation, she is constantly bruised emotionally and downcast in the end. But despite her tendency to allow her heart fall to the pit of her stomach due to simple failiures as an older sister to Lilo and the mother of all, she still brings enormous appeal, teenage-like enthusiasm, and a sense of determination, dedication, and compassion.
history:No one in her small island of Hawaii had ever met anyone like her when she first popped out of the house as a wide-eyed five-year old girl, blessed however with a pudgy roundness and soft sun-kissed skin seen commonly in the locals, but with the appearance of her mother. With an oddness that measured up to that of even her unborn sister.
While she was growing up, she herself was wild about Hula but not of Elvis. She actually had the oddest fixation on Michael Jackson, what with his rebel flare and untamable asthetics, it was sure there were even times she'd claim, out of innocence and naivety, that she would marry him.
She had her trouble-making moments, especially when she attempted to surf. Oh lord, people used to actually cower when she stepped foot on their beach, for chaos would plague her like a curse wherever she went. Even though she was an honor roll student, best Hula dancer in class, she could not achieve the perfect surf. She was but eight, not as balanced or polished, but she'd continue.
Meanwhile, her parents noticed that through the years their daughter was beginning to look more her mother and her personality was that of her father. Her oddness and perky personality melted into a solemn outlook on things, serious and filled with curious intention.
No longer was she like her eccentric and kind mother - she was now her serious and compassionate father - though she held nearly 100 percent of her looks. She was now an ambitioned seventeen year old girl running through the halls of her highschool with her childhood sweetheart, David Kawena.
It was odd to say that she had suceeded in surfing contests after piles and piles of accidents that would put even the four-time winning surf champ to shame. Those four medals would become the very first trophies to her later ones.
It seemed all was well in her life, that is, until she hit the age of twenty-two where she recieved a call that her parents were killed in a car crash due to the unwieldly driving of a drunk. Shattered and heartbroken, she lied to Lilo for several days saying her parents were on vacation, for surely, it was hard enough just uttering the real cause.
Finally, once she calculated her tender approach, she told her sister. From that day on, Nani would not realize that Lilo would be the primary source to her crushing hopes and dreams....
ambitions: Assuring the growth and protection of her little sister, doing her job as a parent justice, and get married before she totals up some wrinkles. Nothing too spiffy or original.
strengths && abilities: Her amazon stature, wit, strength, and words.
flaws: Boy, she has a river of flaws. She has a horrible temper, is emotionally delicate, and has a bit of a tendency to push herself down. She also has a big nose...xP
likes: Horror movies, family, Michael Jackson, Hula, surfing, and singing.
dislikes: Gantu, losses, and messy rooms.
fears: Losing her family and bringing shame to her deceased parents.
what makes this character unique: She's probably the strongest disney heroine (just look at her size and figure) to ever wander the Disney world....annnddd she's had the most mishaps. Who loses their kid, their home, their life, their reputation in one movie?! AND WHO DEALS WITH ALIENS?!

In the middle of the night, opposite entrance, she would witness a wave of light fill the deserted carnival, glowing ever so with an erieeness, had been erected for a cause she was most unaware of. There was nothing odd about it, however empty and active, no sudden change, all theatrical effect, which piqued her curiousity. Innocent and venerable infancy of art. She quietly snuck through the entrance, blinking.
Among the rest (the rides) there was but one curious Hawaiian, who, after watching the ferris wheel turn and turn about, had heard squeaks being conjured from its rusty work, and from that point despatched her gaze to view the other rides, witnessing an ice-cream parlor. She looked through her wallet for some money, but by the time she reached the parlor, it was empty.
In the cooler was a viarity of yummy sweets. She was so hungry!
Then, she looked to a rather worn-looking sign that notified that all was free. She arched an eyebrow. Well, that's a rather stupid way to make business. But who was complaining?
"It's like this place is a freeloader's paradise." She muttered, placing a bit of money on the counter, hoping the fellow who worked here would find it. She felt sorry for these workers, if any at all. She was right as an old man popped out from behind the counter and took the money with a sneer. In looking her over, he gasped. She wasn't a boy!
Nani held out her hand to assure the fellow all was right, but the fellow vanished instantly, shoving back the money she gave him. It was as if being a girl was forbidden in this place. She turned her head and noticed everything was centered on a boy's fantasy, not a girl's. She blinked even more so confused.
She jumped as a donkey screamed from what appeared to be a sort of pig sty, filled with donkeys, wailing. She fell back from shock, scrambling to get on her feet. She neared one and hesitantly patted its head, saying words of comfort. It cried again, this time screaming for help. Nani, frightened, fell back once more and let out a sharp scream.
"This is lolo! I am not seeing this, I am not seeing this, I am not seeing this!" she was in denial as she dashed away, running like a maniac with her ice cream at hand. She licked at it constantly, then, pausing her frantic escapade, stopped to admire the flavor.
"This stuff's better than coffee!" she exclaimed, finding the gates closed shut. She shook each gate many times, growing more and more frantic by the minute.
She threw the ice cream, a feeble attempt to open the gate, at the entrance. It merely splashed her cheek with specks of ice cream. She sighed, flicked them off sourly with a finger, and looked around. There had to be clues, a way to get out of here!
"Eugh," she moaned, "why couldn't I have been locked up in a cage with David Bowie, huh?"
