It was already towards the end of Spring, and soon Summer was coming. Dawson was preparing himself to go on a good hike through the open plains and valleys which presented itself amongst the theme park, which seemed awfully enticing to himself to go on a good old fashioned nature hike elsewhere. To get away from it all, the nature of the busy Hollywood area streets and some of the more crowded tourist attractions here and there more or less. To beat the rush, he made sure to wait for the ripest, calmest and beautifully blue skies to overlook the area that wouldn't be interrupted with rain or even that of a hot day. Today was rather lukewarm, and along with a nice white shirt and some cargo pants he bought from a small shop in just the right size at his request - the good doctor felt poised and ready to go on this trip.
Would he have minded going alone? Perhaps, but today was 'just right', and the simple pleasures of serenity couldn't have been best spent with a companion in mind - be they mouseling, feline, dog, or even a human. With a deep breath, he walked past the grass trails and into the dirt, holding out a makeshift compass and that of a large twig made to the effect of being useful should they come about large rocks, hills, and so on. The doctor couldn't have felt any better going out here; it was just... so perfect. The doctor posted a small notice on his hotel room door that he was going to be out, and if anyone needed him, to hurry and catch him here. It would be an all-day thing, possibly longer, considering the length of travel he would be doing. Extra food would be a good idea too, particularly cheese and water in the long run.
And as to be expected, in his small pouch of belongings was also his notes. Notes from his first arrival and that of his present one. Pressing onward, he made his way through lengthy blades of yellow and green grass on the dirt before leaching a large tree in front of him. No sounds here but the wind itself, or even more so, the birds in the sky happening along around him.
It's a beautiful day...
