After meeting the sweet Wendy Darling at The World Showcase Japan, Kopa longed for someplace more similar to home but different enough for much exploring. Kopa found what he was looking for. He looked around in wonder as he treaded softly in wonder and awe. He saw a lot of interesting creatures. But the most interesting ones weren't very friendly. Kopa learned this as soon as he reached an open space in the jungle. There, he saw leonine creatures.
Though they were leonine, in many ways they were different. There was a mother, and three cubs. Much younger than Kopa, the strange striped cubs seemed like they were only toddlers. Not good enough playmates for a cub like Kopa, who enjoyed a lot of racing and climbing and pouncing. Though the parent was female, she was bigger than Kopa's father! And the family were full of black stripes and had white fuzzy cheeks. The mother noticed Kopa's stare and growled threateningly.
Kopa gasped and backed away, the last thing he wanted to do was cause trouble. When the mother roared in anger, Kopa bolted into a run back in the thick trees. Just beginning to pick up speed, Kopa had to make a big leap over a fallen tree only to land on something cold and scaly. Before Kopa could continue to run he felt what broke his fall rise higher. Kopa then got a look of the creatures face. It looked like the crocodiles in the African rivers but it wasn't flat headed and green. Its back was plate-less too.
And the reptilian was mighty fast and strong on dry land. The giant reptile tried to shake Kopa off. Instinctively Kopa dug his claws into the dragon's scales. The dragon shook harder as Kopa waited for the right moment to jump off it's back. While all this was happening, all the tree dwellers made a fuss at the situation. The birds screeched like alarms.
Kopa felt a sense of guilt. He felt more than an intruder, he felt like he was the freak of the jungle.
