why: why'd you pick this character?
I chose Dixie because I think she represents me very well, as I am from the heart of the South. And our personalities are alike, and with that said, I can role play her very easily.

charrie appearance[/ul]
facial description/mood expressions: Dixie has one of the most animated faces on this side of the Mississippi. When she's happy, her million dollar smile shines and shows her perfectly white canines. Yet, all creatures better beware when she's off her horse, so to speak. Hey maw comes up in a beautifully evil snarl, and her teeth suddenly seem sharper and her eyes narrow. Even when she's mad, her Dixie-Sweetheart appearance never seems to leave her.
clothing style: Being a dog and all, she doesn't really have a style of clothing, no skirts or blouses. She does however have the fanciest black collar around her elegant neck. Two black satin bows are the trademark for Dixie, a big floppy one is on her head, the other smaller one is on her tail
body build: Dixie's body is built very slender and thin. Her legs are long, as her tail, but her shoulders are very narrow. Her neck is long as well, holding up a long and narrow snout and round head.
any unique traits (optional) : none.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough.)[/ul]
Despite her rough exterior, she can be quite a sweet dog. That is, if things go her way. She always has a special love for Cash, and a deep friendship with Todd and Copper. Dixie would do anything for them, as long as things go her way in the long run.
history: Dixie was born in the heart of Tennessee to a very wealthy family. Her owner loved her dearly and spoiled her rotten. She never thought twice about what she had until it was gone. Her family had decided to move to L.A, and had to leave Dixie behind. The family left without Dixie knowing.
After the sudden departure of her family, Dixie was on her own. She traveled the mountians, listening to the birds sing and tried to sing herself. She met Cash, another stray, and they hung together for a while. They were howling to the moon one night, and discovered that they could both sing, and decided to start a band of stray singing dogs.
Dixie began to grow up and turn into a beautiful canine, and her voice did too. She could ever note given to her with ease and accuracy. She and Cash stumbled upon a fellow dog lover who so happened could play the banjo and took them in. He had three other dogs, Waylon, Floyd, and Granny Rose. She had been given a second chance, and a chance to shine in the spot light.
Now, the singing strays had come to Nashville to sing at the county fair, and maybe impress the talent scout of the Grand Ole Oprey. She was their lead singer, and the best hands-down. However, she couldn't work under the horrible conditions with all the floorboards hitting her in the rear. Dixie had enough, so she vowed to never sing again, yet her and Cash quarreled about practicing. Right then and there, she had decided to quit the Singing Strays.
To her bewilderment, Cash and the others found a little pup to replace her and actually fired her. Dixie's tail had been pulled too much! She'd did everything she could to get rid of the pup, Copper, by using peanut butter and saying that he left! Yet, his friend, Todd, foiled her plan. Without giving in, Dixie pressed on to find a way to kick the pup out.
Soon, Dixie Darling found out that Copper had hurt Todd. She then sang a little tune for the depresses fox and told him sometimes it's all "Good Doggie, no bone." Then, Todd admitted that Copper was owned, and not a stray! Dixie found her opening to strike! Her and Todd's plan went well, until she found herself in a Ferris Wheel that was crashing through the talent barn and ruined the talent search for the Singing Strays.
Cash and the others have turned their back on Dixie and broke up the Singing Strays, since their opportunity was thrown away. Knowing that things shouldn't always be about her or what she wanted, Dixie sought out to make things right, for her and the Singing Strays and for Copper and Todd. Little did this Diva Dog know, that Todd and Copper had set up something for Dixie, Cash, and the Singing Strays outside the local diner. And, the talent scout was eating there! Dixie took the chance and belted out a few harmonizing notes with her Band Family, and the scout heard and was swept away. Now, her and the Singing Strays are singing at the Grand Old Opery.

RP SAMPLE: ----
The stage. The lights. The millions of fans screaming my name! The young and the old alike! They want me! a beautiful hound dog was thinking as she awaited the signal. Behind the gray curtains was hundreds of fans that are crowding around the fountain behind Spaceship Earth in Epcot. "Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! Here is your Southern sweetheart, Dixie!" the announcer called.
Dixie strutted out onto the stage, all lights and eyes on her. She could feel from the bottom of her paws the music that was rising like the Pheonix behind her. "I'm backkk!" she howled as the music began. Her fans went wild, screaming as they noticed the song. "First they tell ya' that ya' gonna be the next big thing..." she crooned, her chocolate eyes hiding behind her eyelids as she reached for the highnote with her heart as well as her voice.
