title:
why: why'd you pick this character? I love that Cinderella isn’t just a princess, she’s a true heroine, and in her short life, she’s been through so much. Her vast personality is what really draws me to her.

charrie appearance[/ul][ul][ul]
hair description: Cinderella’s hair is a strange mixture of colours, most notably know as ‘Titan.’ It falls just below her shoulders, and is usually tied back with a ribbon when she is working.
facial description/mood expressions: She has a small, heart-shaped face, with calm blue eyes, likely reflecting her gentle personality. When one comes to meet Cinderella, she will most likely be shown with a kind and warm smile on her face. She tries hard not to show when she is hurt or upset, and one can see a certain maturity in her gaze, from her experiences.
clothing style: Being a servant for most of her life, Cinderella has become accustomed to wearing mismatching, poor quality clothes, almost always with a apron. Although she is now a princess, she prefers to wear casual outfits when not attending to her duties. That isn’t to say however she dislikes being elegant, as Cinderella does still like to dress more formally when the need be, and favours the silver dress she wore to the ball.
body build: Cinderella is a little taller than most girls her age, standing at 5’5, and her figure is a nice hourglass shape. Despite her height, she appears to be very dainty, with small hands and feet.
any unique traits (optional) : Apparently she's been mentioned she resembles Katrina Van Tassel, though she's never heard of such a woman...

personality: --
Although her beauty is prominent upon seeing her, the real beauty of Cinderella lies within her. Despite her hardships, she has maintained a kind and gentle demanour, is not quick to judge, and always tries approach a situation with an open mind and a kind heart. She believes firmly in that however much you may suffer, you must always think on better times, and keep your dreams alive, a belief that has helped her get through some of the rougher times in her life.
Having had a far from normal life, Cinderella, at seventeen, is very mature, and could almost said to be wise in what she says and how she does things. Her experiences have only made her a more well-rounded person on the whole, and she is good at listening to other peoples' troubles, consoling them all the while. Also, when trouble occures, she is not afraid to single out the cause of it, and will quite harshly scold the people involved for their misgivings. Cinderella is not afraid to express what she believes in, and will gladly defend others if need be.
Although she is mature, she is still quite naive when it comes to the real world. Despite now being a princess, and therefore a recognised figure to many people, Cinderella is still learning about relationships, as being a servent for many years restricted on her interacting with people other than the Tremaines. And, though she may stand up to people, it's very rare that she does this for herself, and usually sorts other peoples' battles before her own.
history: --
Cinderella was born to a wealthy couple in France. Her first few years of life were happy, and she had everything a little girl could hope for. Despite the death of her mother when she was just two, Cinderella and her father maintained a close friendship, and he taught her to forever follow her dreams, no matter how bad things could get, and to always have a kind and wise heart.
Although the two were content, the father felt that Cinderella still needed a mother figure in her life, and re-married when she was around five, to a older woman, of seemingly good family, with two daughters around his daughter's age. For a while, the family seemed whole again - though, Cinderella wasn't close with her Step-sisters during this time.
When she was a little over seven, her father suddenly became ill and later, died. This devastated little Cinderella, as she had now lost the two people who meant so much to her, especially since her father had been so close to her. Little after that, did Lady Tremaine begin to alter radically in personality. Jealous of the girl's charm and beauty, she and her daughters constantly abused Cinderella emotionally, with the former openly encouraging them to do so.
It wasn't long before the little girl found herself practically a slave to her Step-families' demands. She was gradually shunned out of the once-lovely Chateau, forced to live in the house's attic, in the highest towers.
This continue for many years, but in that time, although the abuse continued, Cinderella remained true to her father's lesson; that she would forever follow her dreams, and remain kind, which only infuriated her Step-mother even more.
One day, a letter, from the palace, inviting every maiden in the Kingdom to attend, arrived at the Tremaine residence. Lady Tremaine at once made sure her daughters were fit to go, but when Cinderella eagerly expressed interest in attending, she made sure that the girl had even more chores to do than she originally had. It ended with the girl unable to finish her dress in time, but her mice and birds friends surprised her by making it for her, a modified version of her mother's old dress. It seemed everything would go well, until the Step-sisters tore her dress to shreds on the Step-mother's account of it containing discarded items of their own.
If it hadn't been for her Fairy-Godmother, Cinderella would've finally given up hope. In tears, she was consoled by the kind old woman, who made sure she would go to the ball, giving Cinderella a beautiful silver dress and a carriage to go in.
She got to the ball in time, and was almost immediantly being offered to dance by a handsome young man, who was unknown to her, the prince, looking for a bride. She instantly fell in love with the stranger, dancing throughout the night with him, until the clock suddenly struck midnight. Forced to flee, Cinderella left a glass slipper behind. She was chased by the palace's guards, but the magic wore off before she could be found. All that remained of the magic was the remaining glass slipper, which Cinderella held close to her heart, thanking her Fairy God-mother outloud.
The next day, the prince had sent out the Grand Duke, to find the woman who fitted the slipper, as he too had fallen in love, and wanted to marry her. Seizing the oppourtunity, Lady Tremaine got her daughters to try on the slipper, but was suspicious of Cinderella's dream-like mood and distracted attitude. She locked her in the tower, making sure she wouldn't be able to try on the slipper, as she realised the woman dancing with the prince the night before was her.
It looked to be all in vain for Cinderella, but Jaq and Gus soon came to the rescue, over-coming Lucifer with the help of Bruno, and managing to retrieve the key from Lady Tremaine. With this, Cinderella was able to be freed, and try on the slipper just in time. Unfortunately, her Step-mother managed to break the first slipper, but, thanks to her Fairy Godmother, still had the remaining slipper from the night before.
The slipper fit, and Cinderella was finally free to leave her cruel step-families' care, and marry the prince, following her dreams, and getting the love she'd always wanted.

RP SAMPLE: ---- From another site I play her at.
Tiny, dainty feet moved through the floor of the vast forest, followed by a hooves of a horse. Despite that she was now a princess, and therefore had all the comforts she could ask for, Cinderella liked to get away from the castle for a while sometimes. It wasn't that she disliked living in such a beautiful place, but growing up as a servant to her step-family meant that she'd had very little freedom, and now that she did, had decided to do as much as she could in life.
To someone who'd never seen her before, one would not immediantly think of her as a princess now. The pretty woman was attired in a dark yellow dress, casual looking, little brown shoes, and her hair was pulled back with a blue ribbon. Usually, she would've had Bruno with her, but this time, only her horse, Major, had accompanied her. When the trees had got too dense to ride through safely, Cinderella had started traveling on foot, gently leading Major with his reigns.
It wasn't long before the princess could make out a figure of an animal in the distance. Letting go of Major, she gave him a loving pat, before silently moved forward, attempting to get a better look at the figure. Naturally, Cinderella had come across woodland creatures before now in the woods - but she had never seen a larger animal out there before.
Getting as close as she dared to for now, she could finally see that the animal was in fact a stag. Still looking out, Cinderella wondered why such an animal would stop out here - she knew of their species, but didn't know much about them apart from their appearance. The young woman then noticed something attached to the stag's leg - to her horror, she realised it must be some kind of trap. Remembering the days she'd recused her mice friends from such danger, Cinderella knew that she should try to free him, though she wasn't sure how.
Ever brave, she stepped out from the surrounding trees, being careful not to make sudden movements. "You poor thing," she softly said when she got close enough, stopping her advance. "I just don't know how anyone could commit something like this," the princess added, her tone angered. Her voice remained quiet, as not to frighten the stag.
Examining the trap from her standing place, Cinderella didn't know how she could get it off without hurting the animal.
[I hope adding the part about Katrina was okay! I just love Sleepy Hollow, and have seen the resemblance. It's like...woah, heh. x3]
