"Wow!" Toughy exclaimed in amazement. "The only thing that's giving me a hard time here is this crowd." Toughy observed as he made his way through a flood of people. "I can't even see the castle anymore." Toughy noticed as he looked around, and all he could see was more legs walking, running about.
It wasn't the crowd that bothered him though but rather, how the crowd behaved. Though not upset, he felt awkward, he felt, for once in his life, welcomed by people. Toughy found some space to sit at a sidewalk to relax his dizziness. "I thought the castle was amazing, but these people, they're just, something I wasn't expecting!" Toughy chuckled. Toughy looked around, "No dog catchers have even tried to take me away yet. And everyone who sees me hu-!"
Before he could finish recollecting his experience so far in the parks, a group of young kids hugged him all at once laughing. "He's so cute!", said once child. An older one commented, "His name's Toughy! He's friends with Lady!" "I hear he's a good howler!" Toughy was astonished, everyone that sees him seems to know him.
"Alright kids, there's plenty of Toughy to go around, now give him room to breathe." A man in uniform said with kind patience. The kids finally set Toughy free from their embrace and all sat around him as a few grownups came to take a picture. As all this happened Toughy was speechless, and temporarily, blinded even.
He could hear the kids saying bye as they left with their respective parents and guardians. Then the voice that saved Toughy from suffocation spoke again. "We were expecting you Toughy, welcome top the parks!" Toughy shook his head and his eyes began to clear as he looked up to his savior. Toughy, unaware of the park being enchanted, didn't even bother to give an audible response and rather gave a confused look at the man in uniform.
The man, understanding Toughy's bewilderment sported a sympathetic smile and just said reassuringly as he turned away to leave, "Don't worry, Toughy. Knowing you, you will catch on mighty quickly! Well I gotta get back to my station! Goodbye now!" And with that the park employee left Toughy in wonder.
