why: As a child, Olivia was one of my favorite Disney characters. She inspired me to stand up for myself. The Great Mouse Detective is and always will be my favorite Disney movie. She's adorable, sweet, and innocent, yet she can tell a villain off without a moment's hesitation. That's why I love her!

charrie appearance[/ul]
facial description/mood expressions: Olivia has an adorable face for a little girl. Her eyes are deep chocolate, and she has a tiny brown nose. Her teeth are a tad large.
When Olivia is happy, she wears a sweet smile. Sad, her ears droop and her eyes get large. On the occasions that she is frightened, her pupils shrink drastically. An angry Olivia's nose wrinkles and her eyes narrow. But the cutest expression of them all is when she is curious. Her eyes widen in childlike wonder and she ogles the subject of attention.
clothing style: Olivia usually wears a blue sweater with a loose white collar and a green bow on the front. The rest of the outfit consists of a short plaid blue skirt and white stockings. Her shoes are dark green mary-janes.
When going on a trip or outside, Olivia dons a knee-length blue coat and a baby blue plaid scarf. To protect herself from the weather, a blue beret with a red puff sits atop her head.
body build: Olivia is rather small for her age, but it doesn't hinder her rambunctious nature. She is slender from all the activity she gets. She has tiny hands and feet, and her tail is very thin, however long.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough.)[/ul]
Olivia loves to explore, which sometimes leads her into situations best avoided. She's always wandering somewhere new, and it's hard to keep an eye on her. Olivia may someday become a detective just like her hero, Basil of Baker Street, due to her curiosity.
She's extremely hard-headed, and when she is angry, she can get quite a temper. As a child, she's not the best fighter, but whoever said lashing out with words was ineffective never tried throwing a dictionary! A perfect example of this is when she excoriates Professor Ratigan and his minion, Fidget.
Besides her almost villainous temper, the little mouse can be angelic. She can soften any heart with just a look, and she loves showing her affection through hugs and gifts. She is also relatively quiet, although persistent, and she will listen to somebody that she looks up to.
Olivia's favourite thing to do, however, would probably be testing her father's new toys. It comes as one of the benefits of being a celebrated toy maker's daughter.
history: Olivia Susanne Flaversham was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. She was the only child of Susanne and Hiram Flaversham. Olivia never knew her mother; Susanne died a week after her daughter was born.
After her mother's early end, Olivia became the center of her father's world. Hiram decided to start anew, beginning a toy making business in London. He and his daughter moved to London when she was five years old.
Olivia loved London, and enjoyed all of its wonderful sights and sounds. But when she began school, she was teased for her odd accent. Her temper put the bullies in their place, and she became quick friends with most of them when they became acquainted with her.
Once Olivia and her father had been there for a year, Hiram was recognized as one of the best toy makers in London, specializing in clockwork toys. The publicity was good for business, and the Flavershams had seemed to have achieved their dream.
On her birthday, poor Olivia's father was kidnapped. This led her to search for Basil of Baker Street, the detective that she assumed could help her find her father. At first, it seemed that Olivia would never get the detective to help her. But when she mentioned a bat, he was eager to help the young lady, believing that Hiram's disappearance was linked to his archenemy, Professor Ratigan.
They followed the clues that led them to a human toy shop. Ratigan's minion, Fidget, had been stealing the uniforms from toy soldiers, tools, and gears. All that was left on the list was the girl, leaving him the perfect opportunity to snatch Olivia. Her curiosity got the best of her, and the mouse was kidnapped by Fidget.
She was briefly reunited with Hiram, but then Fidget put her in a bottle as a makeshift prison. Basil came to rescue her and her father, but Ratigan got the best of him, setting a trap and revealing his plan to replace Queen Mousetoria with a robot. Basil became depressed for a short while, but it didn't last long. Using his intellect, Basil freed Olivia, himself and Dawson, then stopped Ratigan's plan by getting to Buckingham Palace in the nick of time.
Olivia's troubles were far from over, however. As she curiously watched the riot from behind the curtain where the thugs were tied up, Fidget freed himself and snatched her. He then handed her to Ratigan, who threatened to kill her if any of the mice were to make a move.
As Ratigan tried to get away by his airship, Olivia excoriated him, doing all she could to slow him down. She even yanked his tail. Fidget then asked if they could throw Olivia into the Thames River. Instead, Ratigan threw him off the ship and pedaled himself. He was so worried about Basil gaining the upper hand that they crashed into the Big Ben.
After battling in the clock tower, and getting nearly crushed by cogs, Basil managed to get Olivia to saftey. But he and Ratigan fell off the clock. Olivia began to cry, believing Basil was dead. He wasn't, however, and made it safely back.
She and her father went back to Scotland a week later. Olivia has been interested in detective work since then, even going as far as to buy her own magnifying glass.

RP SAMPLE: ----
Olivia's eyes grew wide in fright. She pressed herself against the wall as all of the strange human feet flew by her. A little boy very nearly kicked her from her spot as he threw a tantrum.
After the close encounter with the tennis shoe, she decided she had to get to a safer place or she was going to end up under one of those enormous feet. Olivia took a deep breath, then dashed across the sidewalk. She squeaked, ducking before another foot kicked her a mile. She made it to the other side of the street, running to safety.
Now that she'd avoided those obstacles, she had time to think. Olivia sat down on an abandoned jellybean box, sighing.
How did she even get to this strange, unusual place? From her spot, she could see a beautiful fairy tale palace that rivaled the sight of Buckingham Palace. She couldn't even remember. One moment, she had been helping Daddy build a toy, the next, running from feet!
Was she dreaming?
