charrie basics.[/ul]
age: 3 years (adult), 1 year (cub)
species: Lioness
birthplace: The Pridelands
movie: The Lion King 2
title:
The Outlands {P R I N C E S S}
why: why'd you pick this character? I chose Vitani because she’d so different from the other lionesses in the Lion King movies. I also now have a heroine and a side-kick, so I decided a villain was next.

charrie appearance[/ul]
facial description/mood expressions: Vitani’s face has a certain limit of expression, seeing as she’s an animal. When happy, she smirks more then smiles, her eyes squint as her maw turns upward. When sad, her ears droop, and her eyes never leave the ground. When angered, Vitani’s muzzle wrinkles in a snarl as her eyes narrow.
clothing style: N/A
body build: As a cub, Vitani is stocky with little hint of feminism. However, as she grows older, her body becomes leaner, and more graceful.
any unique traits (optional) : As a cub, Vitani has a patch of long-ish fur that hangs in her face.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough.)[/ul]
Sassy and strong-willed, As a cub, Vitani seems to be the lion equivalent of a human tomboy. She’s tough as nails and doesn’t take anything from anyone. She’s very sarcastic, often to the point of rudeness and bluntness. Vitani isn’t a patient lioness, and has a short temper. As an adult, she’s somewhat the same, only more reserved. She’s more like a soldier then a person (or lion) and acts as such. However, with the bond between the Outlander and Pridelanders, Vitani is regaining some of her old attitude.
history: include the character's role in the film, as well as any prior or aftermath events that are necessary - don't be afraid to make up anything as long as it does not contradict the canon history!
Vitani’s origins are somewhat unknown. It is known that Zira is her mother, and it is possible that her father is Scar. After the death of Scar, Zira, Vitani and the rest of the Outsiders were driven to the Outlands, where Vitani spent most her cubhood and young adult life. When Kovu came along, Vitani was pushed to the side by her mother, making her second best in Zira’s eyes. Vitani spent cubhood training with Kovu, and the two formed a close bond, like brother and sister.
As Vitani progressed into young adulthood, she became a soldier for her mother. Vitani and her brother, Nuka were sent to do their mother’s dirty work as part of her plan to kill Simba and avenge Scar. One time, they had Simba cornered, but he managed to escape by climbing a wall of logs. Nuka attempted to climb after him, but a falling log struck him and killed him. It was at this moment that Vitani realized that her mother’s plan was futile, and would only result in more deaths. However, her training had been drilled into her head so hard that she couldn’t bring herself to confront Zira. After Nuka’s death, Zira led the rest of the Outsiders to attack Pride Rock and Vitani was among them, serving as her mother’s second in command. She fought Simba’s lionesses until the battle was interrupted by Kovu and Kiara. Vitani was the first to see the truth behind Kiara’s words, and went to the other side to join Simba’s pride, soon followed by the rest of the Outlanders, save for Zira. After her mother’s death, Vitani joined the pride.

what makes this character unique: Vitani is one of the first Lion King characters with “attitude”. Sure, Kiara is a little rebellious, but it’s in a very innocent way, at least as a cub. Vitani on the other hand is a little devil, and a really interesting and fun character.
