charrie basics.[/ul]
age: According to the game she debuted in, Nasira is the same age as Jafar, though their exact age had not been revealed. I’m guessing she’s in her mid-forties.
species: Sorceress (or is that an occupation?)
birthplace: Unknown
movie: Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge (video game)
title: Vengeful and Vicious
why: I’ve been a fan of Disney for as long as I could remember. One of my favorite films is Aladdin (including the sequels, well MOST of them) I adore Aladdin’s character and even though his intentions are good, he does have some faults, many of them we all can relate to. And although, I like Aladdin, Jasmine, and all the other good guys, Jafar was my favorite. He’s so evil, it’s amazing. Sadly, I feel like I cannot do justice to his character. So that's where Nasira came in. She had never appeared in the Aladdin movies or the spin-off series, but all the same, I think Nasira followed the villain pattern well. Unfortunately, her scheme to take vengeance had failed in the end (like all the other villains) but who ever heard of a villain winning? I must say that even though I wish to see more of Nasira, I'm a little (a LITTLE) glad her character is restricted to the video game, because I have more room to develop her character, based on the few appearances I had seen her in.

charrie appearance[/ul]
facial description/mood expressions: At first glance, anyone could tell Nasira was no angel. Her triangular face often has some sort of negative expression, such as an irritated glare or a scornful frown. As for a physical description, her eyes are a dull black, often with a mysterious glint to them. Her face is angular, absent of any rounded features.
clothing style:
- Regular Outfit: Nasira wears a dark violet dress, which easily reveals her thin frame. While it covers most of her body, it left her upper chest and shoulders bare. A black line running from the chest to the bottom of her dress, served as a simple design. Two black rings are wrapped around the area that separated the abdomen from the hip area. Her skin-tight sleeves are black, going past the elbow, ending about halfway above the wrists. On her right arm, there's a golden snake band wrapped just below the shoulder. Around her neck is a golden collar-like necklace, shaped like flower petals, sharpened at the tips. Two golden triangles serve as earrings. There's an interesting choice of clothing.
- Mystic Disguise: Nasira wears this when she wishes to keep her identity a secret. Unlike her sleek violet dress, she instead wore a brown robe that hid her body shape. The front of the robe shows a yellow dress that is worn underneath the robe, along with a necklace (since there isn't a 2D picture of the disguise, I have no idea whether the necklace is the same one Nasira wears with her regular outfit.) A red veil covers all of Nasira's face, except for her eyes. She also wears a purple veil to cover all of her hair.
body build: A notable feature is her height, as she towered over the average person (Nasira is about a head taller than Aladdin.) She's very thin, her build resembles a skeletal hourglass.
any unique traits (optional) :
- Nasira sometimes carries around a staff with a zigzag shaped design on the top. The zigzag is the color of flames (yellow, orange, and red) and resembles a bolt of electricity. Though she often uses her staff in battle, Nasira can also use magic without it. The staff may allow Nasira to cast stronger spells than usual. Based on an observation, the magic that is fired from her staff is much brighter than the magic created by her hands alone (It is usually dark violet/red cloud-like magic, opposed to the bright, sparkle-like magic fired from her staff)
- Nasira may be left-handed, since her staff is held in her left hand.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough.)[/ul]
history: [NOTE: Nasira's childhood and young adult life were all made up. I added some events to, I guess, 'explain' why she's so evil, blah blah, so yeah. xD Enjoy.]
Nasira wasn't always evil, however, she was always different.
Her sorcerous parents were shunned by society, because back then, sorcery was feared and rejected by many people. Despite the majority of the people avoiding them, her parents were wealthy and lived in a small town, a few miles away from Agrabah. Her father was an unfriendly sorcerer who seemed to dislike everyone in general, excluding his wife and kids. But her mother was kind-hearted and a little more outgoing, in spite of the people who shunned her.
As young child, Nasira had trouble making friends because of her parents and the fact that Nasira inherited both of her parent's abilities. She found that she loved using magic, both simple spells and complex ones, but the other people disapproved and had nothing to do with her. This made Nasira sad and confused, and she wondered what was so wrong with using magic. Even though her twin brother, Jafar, was also rejected by the other kids, he handled it better. Jafar didn't seem to care if the other kids hated him for who he was and encouraged Nasira to do the same. He told her to forget about trying to please them and to be herself. She reluctantly listened to Jafar and spent the majority of her childhood alone. Though her parents tried to be helpful, Nasira was still unhappy.
When she reached her teenage years, the other girls began to ridicule her. At first, Nasira found herself being cornered by several of her vicious neighbors and even some of the boys joined in. To avoid facing her peers, she refused to leave her house and stayed shut up in her room. Her father began to get irritated over his daughter's refusal to leave her room and threatened to break down the door. Once Nasira came out of her room, her clueless father (since Nasira was ashamed of being bullied, she never told her parents) told Nasira to go run an errand. Suspicious of Nasira's strange behavior, Jafar decided to follow her and see what was up. Sure enough, soon Nasira was confronted by the mean kids. Since it was forbidden to use any kind of harmful magic, Nasira refused to fight and only tried to get away. Once they attacked her, a furious Jafar intervened before it could get violent. He blasted one of the kids with a spell, and sent the kid hurling against a wall. Luckily for Jafar and Nasira, the other kids got spooked and retreated. As for the kid who got sent into the wall, he was severely injured. Jafar was arrested by the guards and forced to give up his magic. Because of that, Jafar could not longer cast spells (hence the reason why he had shown little magical ability in the first Aladdin movie) Nasira blamed herself, convinced that it was her fault that her brother his abilities. At first, Jafar was angry with his sister, but he eventually realized that it wasn't her fault and told her so. Disappointed that their son lost his ability to cast spells, their parents began to search for ways to restore Jafar's magic. Their efforts paid off a bit, and Jafar eventually regained his power to hypnotize after several months of intense training. While that was going on, Nasira, herself was strengthening her own spell casting.
But things took a turn for the worse when Nasira turned seventeen. First, her father placed his trust in the wrong people and gotten himself killed. Then, her mother died of an illness a few months after. Prior to these events, Jafar had left home to see the world. Her uncle had taken Nasira in, but he had broken his niece's trust, when he married her off to a mean-spirited man. After three years, she eventually grew sick of his abuse, and murdered him. When her uncle tried to intervene, Nasira easily overpowered him and threatened to kill him, unless he disappeared 'for good' Afterwards, she gathered her things and left his house to avoid getting arrested. Meanwhile, Jafar (whom she had been writing to once in awhile) had gained the sultan's trust and had gotten himself a job in the palace. After careful consideration, Nasira decided to leave her town and travel around a bit to improve her magic and maybe learn a few things. She sent Jafar one last letter and left. For many years, Nasira remained distant from Jafar, mostly because she didn't want her tainted reputation to interfere with Jafar's job.
A few years prior to Jafar's demise, Nasira met up again with her brother and learned of his plan to seize the sultan's power. Fascinated, she listened. Jafar told her that he planned to find the Cave of Wonders to obtain a lamp, use its magic to regain his lost powers, and finally use it to conquer Agrabah and perhaps the entire world. Nasira was impressed and awed over Jafar's ambition. Before Jafar left to begin his quest, he promised Nasira that there will be a place for her once he takes Agrabah. That was the last time she had seen him alive.
[ And here's the canon part of the history. ]
Nasira heard of Jafar's death and relocated to magma-filled cavern to summon Jafar's ghost. After vocally calling on the 'darkest evil powers', Jafar's spirit appeared. After he greeted Nasira, Jafar asked her if she had yet found a way to bring him back to Agrabah. Nasira told Jafar that she did find a way and explained her plan. She told him of a resurrection spell that would only work through artifacts, which were scattered across the desert. Nasira said that once she found the artifacts and brought him back, the world would be theirs. A concerned Jafar, however, told her not to get excited and warned her of Aladdin and his 'infernal' genie. He told her that he underestimated them and paid dearly for it. But Nasira took it lightly and told him that she already had a plan to get rid of both Aladdin and the genie.
In the middle of the night, Nasira invaded the palace and single-handily took control of the entire city in moments. She began by casting a spell over the entire city, corrupting all of the guards. The once-loyal guards, turned against the sultan and Princess Jasmine, and seized them. Once they were out of the picture, Nasira then set the guards loose on the city, ordering them to catch Aladdin and bring him to her, dead or alive.
Aladdin managed to fight off the brainwashed guards and broke into the palace to confront Nasira. He rushed at her, but two of the guards blocked his way. Despite his current position, Aladdin demanded Nasira to tell him what she had done with Princess Jasmine and the sultan. She told Aladdin that she disposed of them, because their 'services' were no longer needed, since she was now the ruler of Agrabah. Aladdin was also informed that once Jafar returned to this mortal world, he wouldn't be around either. Genie, who had been with Aladdin at the time, flew up at her and told her that the Jafar he knew was 'dead, gone, sleeping with the fishes, no longer among the living.' Instead of getting angry, Nasira claimed that she heard so much about him. Genie was swayed by her words and got caught off guard, until at the last moment. But it was already too late; Nasira took advantage of the moment and hit him with her staff. Genie disappeared on the spot, much to Aladdin's horror. She turned to Aladdin and told him that his time will come soon enough and ordered the two guards to take him to the dungeon. Nasira said that she will be there shortly to deal with him personally.
But Aladdin escaped from the dungeon and tried to escape from the collapsing palace on the carpet. But he ran into Nasira, who fired magic at him. After missing the first two times, she hit Aladdin and knocked him off the carpet. She walked away and allowed a corrupted Razoul to deal with him. But Aladdin defeated Razoul and freed him from the spell.
While Aladdin was wandering through the Oasis in search of his friends, Nasira disguised herself as a mystic, and wore new clothing, including a face veil. Aladdin met her in the Oasis, and was fooled by her disguise. Nasira told Aladdin that Genie was trapped in the Cave of Wonders, probably to gain Aladdin's trust. She helped him find the two scarab halves, the very same ones Jafar used to find the Cave of Wonders in the past. Aladdin successfully freed Genie and escaped the Cave of Wonders a second time. Outside, he found Nasira on a camel (still in disguise.) Nasira told him that while he was gone, she found the whereabouts of Princess Jasmine. Aladdin thanked her and told her that he is in debt to her kindness. Nasira simply replied that the debt is paid if he could free Agrabah from the evil that threatened it. Once Aladdin had left, Nasira threw off her disguise and proudly held one of the artifacts in her hand.
After Aladdin saved Jasmine, the princess warned Aladdin that she overheard the guards saying Nasira was simply using Aladdin to get the artifacts. Aladdin ignored the obvious warning and kissed Jasmine before he left to rescue her father.
After he battled the Evil Sultan and defeated him, Aladdin saved the true sultan of Agrabah. Then Nasira in her mystic disguise appeared right on the scene. Aladdin asked her how she found him. Nasira told Aladdin he could never understand her abilities and revealed her true self. Furious and betrayed, Aladdin grabbed his sword to kill Nasira. The sorceress blasted Aladdin with her staff and paralyzed him. She took the artifacts Aladdin had collected after defeating each boss and waved goodbye, before she opened a portal. When Nasira's back was turned, Abu smacked Aladdin and brought him back to normal. Aladdin saw the portal closing rapidly and dove in at the last second, and discovered the location of Nasira's lair.
After battling many hellish creatures, Aladdin found Nasira with Jafar's spirit. Nasira panicked for a moment, but snapped out of it and zapped Jafar, making him bigger. Aladdin battled Nasira by throwing crystals at her and dodged falling rocks, plus Nasira's own attacks. He destroyed some of the artifacts, while the rest were recovered by Nasira. She gave the artifacts to Jafar, and he is resurrected. An angry Jafar fought Aladdin, but got killed in the end.
As for Nasira, her fate is left unclear, but she was last seen floating away as Jafar died. She most likely survived and may be plotting Aladdin's demise to this day.
Nasira's spell broke and Agrabah was free once again.

RP SAMPLE:
[From a Twisted Disney RPG]
Nasira descended down the spiraling staircase, a dim glow from the tip of her staff served as a light. It was dreary here, not a trace of sunlight or wind. There was a hundred places the enchantress would rather be, but there was something she was looking for. It wasn't the eternal lack of illumination that bothered her, it was her concern of the possible vermin that plagued the underground vault. She hated rats. Brushing that possibility to the back of her mind, she finally reached the end of the staircase, discovering the room it led to. Shelves carved into the stone wall held mountains of human skulls and cobwebs, fragments of other remains scattered across the floor. Not bad. The scenery was already impressing. About ten yards across the bottom of the stairway, an arched opening revealed a hall. Wasting no time, she moved on.
The corridors did not leave much room to walk through, however. Much to Nasira's annoyance, she had to lower her head slightly to avoid hitting it. At times like these, Nasira wished she wasn't so tall, especially since she had yet to see the other side of the corridor. Who knew how long she could have to walk like this? After holding this awkward position for a while, she finally saw a door. Nasira blasted it to smithereens because she was too lazy to use the door handle. The next room had a much higher ceiling, so Nasira eagerly stood up to her full height. She was greeted with another skull collection, but something else caught her eye. Perhaps this was what she had been looking for all along.
A bat shrieked and flew at her head. "Augh!" Nasira gave an alarmed yell and smacked it with her staff. It was too dark to see whether the bat was killed or simply flew away. Come to think of it, how could there be any living animals down here, rats or bats? She thought the catacombs were closed off for thousands of years. Any animals trapped in the catacombs should have died from starvation centuries ago. Nasira went to the object that caught her eye, a small wooden box. She opened it and found it empty, confirming her fear. So that would explain it, someone had gotten to the artifact first. And perhaps let in the vermin along with it. The artifact she was looking for was a ring with some sort of electrical charge in the gem it held. The reason why Nasira wanted it was because she needed its power. The ring itself did not have all the power she needed, which was why Nasira had been collecting relics with any kind of magic or energy in them, however the amount was. Once enough was collected, it would be combined for a second resurrection spell. But this would all take time, depending on how quickly Nasira worked to find them.
And since the artifact was taken, she would have to find another to pilfer. Nasira turned to head out, when she heard a faint scratching noise. What could that be? Could it be the person who found the ring first? One way to find out. Twisting around violently, she went in the opposite direction and entered another room.
