i can go the distance
why: Mostly because Hercules was my favorite movie (actually, my only favorite movie from Disney). Hercules had always been the type of character who never let things bring him down, he's determined to prove himself no matter what- he's started as that awkward boy, and no one thought he would be a hero. And yet, he did- and in way, even now I see that as something that a lot of teens are inspired by- proving themselves to be someone, determined to be what they want to be, and even celebrities said that there were people who said they couldn't do it, and yet they could (Kaulitz twins, Andy Sixx). It's only natural I would pick a character from Hercules.

charrie appearance[/ul]
facial description/mood expressions: He has the classic look that the Greek always has- the full, pursed lips, sloped nose. His eyes are oceanic blue and always lidded, making him seem like he's unobservant and tired, despite when his features twist to resemble amusement. Often, his face is always lit, he's never really the type to sulk all that much, so his expressions mostly are interest and excitement. After all, he's always itching for a fight.
clothing style: Nothing but the Greek ensemble. He has a brown chest plate that ends with a skirt (quite frankly, it makes it easier for him to move around in). A blue cape is clipped to either side of his shoulders and runs down his back. he wears brown sandals on his feet light enough for him to run, jump and fight.
body build: His build can only be described as broad, muscular, and toned. His stomach could double as a washboard.
any unique traits: Nothing that hasn't been said.

original charrie analysis. (everything must be in your own words! please be thorough.)[/ul]
In saying so, he's never the type of person who wants something bigger, but won't do something about it. He'll get it because he knows he can. He can be a hero because that option is open for him. Granted, he's a little... conceited, only deciding to be so due to personal gain of gaining access to the gates of heaven- but along the way, he's realized that where one is born doesn't determine where they belong- it's just a sentimental piece that they should keep close to their heart. Where people belong is just with people who make them feel comfortable to be themselves.
He's also like a child at times. He will only believe in what he wants to. When he was confronted that Meg was playing him, he pushed it away, becoming defensive because he couldn't bear the thought of being in love with someone would probably would never love you back. He blocks them out and doesn't reason with common sense, nor want to hear what they want to say. At times, his feelings for people around him causes difficulties because feelings, at times, can overpower common sense.
history: He was born in Mount Olympics, his father was the great Zeus, and the legendary Hera. Both of them loved him dearly, and wouldn't want the world to cast wickedness on him, he was, after all, their son.
But even so- his uncle, Hades, had a rather morbid plan in his blue-fiery head. He wanted to rule the world, take over the Mountains and conquer Zeus- and little Hercules was a roadblock, as long as he continues to exists, he can stop Hades, and he would be cast down to the dark and morbid world from which he ruled. And so, the God of the Underworld had Hercules stole from his crib and taken down to earth- the two little devils Pain and Panic only dropping him off to force him to drink from a vial, turning him into a mortal before planning to kill him. However, their plans went interrupted as two seniors went to investigate the crash and the sound of a crying baby. The last drop wasn't drunk, he was a mortal, but still had his strength, and because of that, the two couldn't kill him. Instead, he pretended they did, and went to Hades with news of success.
Growing up, Hercules didn't fit in. He was thin and awkward, and his limbs seemed to prove a problem as he constantly forgot how strong he is. It becomes destructive, which causes him to be one of the most hated person in their small little village. Instead, he had always knew something was wrong with him, but never voiced it.
It wasn't until a day came- when he accidentally destroyed the marketplace did he finally talk to his parents about it. In return, the admitted that he was their child, they wanted one, and believed that the God's blessed them with him. Looking at the medallion that they had found on his neck, he decided to go the temple and ask Zeus himself, traveling through the storm. When he arrived, Zeus's spirit inhibited the statue to talk to his son. He informed his on that he was the father and that Hades had turned him mortal. The only way he could come home was to become a hero- search out Phil. They parted ways, not before his father gave him Pegasus again.
When they arrived, it took some encouraging, but after a friendly strike of lightening, Phil agreed to train him. Soon his muscle mass changed, he became buff, stronger, and he looked like a hero, not a skinny destructive imp he once was. His fist arrival to the city of Themes was cut short as he ran into Meg. Being the chivalrous boy he was, he jumped in to save her before he went back to his task at trying to catch some attention in the cities. After a moment of unsuccessful failure, Meg comes back in search of him again, telling him that two kids were trapped under a boulder. After rescuing them and surviving the deadly multi-head growing monster, he became an instant hit, becoming famous (and falling in love for the first time).
But all good things come to an end- after leaving with Phil and Pegasus to go train after the hooky session, Phil returns and proceeds to anger him by accusing that Meg was toying with his feelings. Annoyed, he sent him away, not even looking back to see if he was alright when he had thrown him against the wall. After a moment, Hades himself appears, proposing that he would let Meg go if Hercules let go of his strength for a day. Fearing her safety, he agreed; only to learn that Phil's seemingly random and angry accusation was true.
ambitions: To be a hero.
strengths && abilities: Hercules, despite being mortal, didn't drink the entire potion when he was a baby, thus, he still has his super strong power. It's something that comes naturally, despite, as a teen, he was as skinny and breakable as a twig, he was ridiculously strong, bordering dangerously on destructive- which he has crossed more the once.
flaws: Physically, he has none. However he has bonds with the people around him, and can't let it go. He would, as it's been proved before, give up everything for the person he loved. He's willing to do anything to ensure her security, and even if he's physically weaker then his opponent and knows well enough that he would lose against them- he still has to try for the people around him that expected him to save them. Recklessly, he would do what he needs to for acceptance and for the knowledge that the people he cares about won't be hurt.
It seemed like a day couldn't pass faster. Hercules watched as his family was taken and chained, the city filled with the people who idolized him cowered in fear as a cyclopes destroyed everything searching for him. Loosing hope, Hercules confronts the monster. During that time, Meg finds Phil and convinces him to talk some sense into Hercules. They returned, and Phil convinces him to be strong, but in the process that Hercules regains some sense, a pillar toppled and fatally injured Meg. The promise was broken, and he was able to have his strength back. With a promise that he would look after her, Hercules leaves to Olympus, turning the tide of the war.
When he had returned, however, he was too late. Meg had died. Enraged, Hercules stalks to the underworld, promising that if he could pull Meg from the river, he could have her. With that, he jumped in- swimming ahead and reaching for her. But Hades knew that he would die. It was, after all, the River of Death.
However, he has risked his life for someone, he had gone the distance, knowing it's unlikely he would survive in the hopes of rescuing her. And with that, he became a god again, able to pull her out and return her to her body.
Now able to return home, he decided that he wanted to stay mortal and live with Meg for as long as his mortal life allows him.
likes: Meg, being a hero, having people trust him and look up to him, winning, being famous, the spotlight, Pegasus, his background, and Phil.
dislikes: Losing, letting the villains get their way, screaming girls, the thought of losing Meg, letting his father down.
fears: To lose everything. He fears never being able to go back to Mount Olympics again, to never see his father and mother, or live with them for that matter. He fears death at times, which is a big block that sometimes looms in front of his path, and crossing it, he frets that he might not make it pass. But now, he is scared that he would lose Meg. He's managed to let her slip from him once, and wouldn't relish having to go through that again.
what makes this character unique: He's not a dreamer, but he dreams big. He says one thing, and will actually do what it takes to achieve it. Training as a hero was hard, and he knew that, the dangerous acts Phil had him do through hazardous weather would be a perfect example, and despite that, he didn't roll over, play dead and give up.
RP SAMPLE:
Kaoru's eyes were respectfully trained on the beautiful princess in front of her. She had, to him, and angelic face, sharp structures that could slice and kill- and stunningly jaded eyes. Oh yes, she was the jealous type alright. He was well aware of that. The way she looked around her, the way that small frown could crease thes kin between her eyebrows, the distant and skillfully subtle displeasure hiding in the shadows of her fact that the last had cast from the window. Yes, she was a beautiful one- but had the soul of a cougar, ready to attack anyone who gets on her, ready to fight to get what she desired. Beauty- as the King once told the Princess who had dumped Haruhi's bag in the pond when she first entered the Host Club, only went so far if one wasn't beautiful on the inside.
That must be why she requested him- to get him away from his twin so she can have him to herself for half an hour. Clever girl, since Hikaru was the one who instigated the acts, without him, his attention would turn to whoever wanted her- and here she was- smiling at him as she leaned forward, her hands resting elegantly on his hand as he looked at her with pitying soft eyes, the every so devious smile still on his lips. He couldn't possibly push her away when she didn't do anything, but he couldn't really be himself without the aid of his twin- he felt uncomfortable without him.
But then the shadow king appeared, and for some reason, Kaoru could only see the 'light' that radiated from him as he told the princess that her time was up. Slowly, he took and walked over to her, holding out his hand to help ease her out of the chair, thanking her for gracing her presence in his life. Ha. He hoped she never came back, but he won't say that out loud. Mockingly kissing her hand, he feigned a worried gaze to his twin- as if he fretted that their love would diminish without each other. All, of course, was merely a play.
Stepping back, one hand behind his back, he turned and carefully made his way back to where Hikaru was- which was on the other side of the room. As he passed the front door however, his amber eyes flickered from his seat to the the figure peering inside consciously. However, it seemed they didn't like what they saw and went to close the door once more- not before freezing as it creaked, the sound almost unnoticed compared to the tinkling to glasses and squeals of moe... well, unnoticed to everyone but him.
Stepping forward quickly, his lips twisted into a grin as his hand wrapped around the the edge of the door, the other innocently held behind his back as he bent over and peered over, looking like a detective who was making sure the room was safe before entering. 'Oh, it's a girl,' he said, his voice surprisingly flat- normally the long hair would have tipped him off, however, he had come to find there was a few males who had fairly long hair. His features softened again as he gazed thoughtfully at her without half lidded eyes.
He stepped back, one hand held out to the other as he bowed slowly. 'Welcome, Princess to the Ouran Academy's Host Club,' normally he would have grinned and looked at her as if she was about to fall right into his imaginary trap- but seeing that she already looked uncomfortable, he shouldn't fuel the fire. After all, chivalry that cannot overlook the hideousness of the world was the second thing that defined the Host Club And if he didn't, Tamaki would have to lecture him- the idiot
