"Apparently, I am really good at this. Who would of thought that both Pepa and another one of her children would appear in the same park at the same time?"
"Antonio says she's his cousin, but yes basically a sister", Moana agreed and the correction was just for Sisu's knowledge, not diminishing her job in any way.
It was a bit odd, such an explosion after a month. The way the Parks worked still baffled her.
Watching such a family reunion should have made Moana miss her parents, and while she felt the slight twinge, for the most part she couldn't help smiling so happily for Antonio and now everyone else who would no doubt become friends of hers and Sisu as well. Mirabel coming over to thank her seemed a step one in that.
Moana took the other girl's hand, shaking it with a smile. "Not a problem at all. Antonio's adorable and such an easy kid, but I'm happy he found you...as well as sorry you have to be here". It was the sentiment they all struggled with, and especially with wanting to see family.
Sisu answered for how long they had been here. Moana nodded. She always felt it was unhelpful stating her own time, and even if some had been here longer, but Mirabel seemed resigned and able to handle her odd situation. "It...just reached five years for me last month", Moana gave a slight chuckle at the end of her words to try to soften them.
Not to mention the possibility of Disappearing! Moana glanced to Antonio and his mother. Not now...
Mirabel would find out soon enough. They all would.
"I'd never even heard of a fair", Moana answered Mirabel for her experience getting used to the Parks. "I have by now, but people here keep saying my time was from...pre-Hawaii. Hawaii being a state some of the islands turned into. Not mine of Motunui I don't think".
Mirabel then seemed to spot another family member!
"Wow, I am really, really good at this. Three family members found at once. That's a new record."
Moana wasn't sure if Sisu could take credit for all of this, but it was starting to look very impressive on her and the chief's daughter was willing to go with the possible coincidence. "Sisu, are you sure you're not a Family Reunion whirl-pool?", she asked with a laugh. That comparison made more sense to her circumstances beforehand than the more modern magnet allusion.
