Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's MAGGIE, and I wished upon a star from ADS. My other imaginary friends include HAMISH/HUBERT/HARRIS, FALINE, BAGHEERA, JESSIE. ANDRINA and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: Andrina
Age: 17
Species: Mermaid
Birthplace: Atlantica
Movie: The Little Mermaid (I-III)
Custom title: The Sarcastic Mermaid
Why: Andrina is my princess and mermaid foray Given the "land-legs", her interactions won't be limited and in fact will span both land and sea and of Ariel's sisters she's the one I feel I can get the best grasp of to do justice.
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: Andrina has shortish blonde hair, or at least shorter than most of her sisters in that she's able to wear it done up in a pony tail in back fitting into a pink decoration. Said decoration actually makes up most of her pony-tail/seems one itself.
Facial description/mood/expressions: Hazel eyes often holding a glint of humor or just interest and a slim but not long face. Andrina's countenance is most often lifted in a smirk or smile, though not one meant meanly (she would defend).
Clothing style: Purple tail and magenta sea-shell bikini top. Andrina dresses pretty simply as far as mermaid's go and even if because of that it's a bit hard to tell between and she dresses like her sisters but for the color identifying. As a human this transfers to simple shorts and shirts, still keeping with purple and magenta hue where she can.
Body build: Slim from her life spent swimming. Slender arms and perfectly proportioned tail.
Any unique traits (optional): She is the only other of her sisters, besides Arista, who has blonde hair though hers is not quite as blonde, more dirty blonde.

History:
Still, life was happy and good. Andrina would readily attest to this as well! And the music that also filled the palace! They were all encouraged, however they sounded, in testing and playing at instruments. But their mother's voice singing them to sleep was probably the best of all.
Then that day at the cove, when they lost Athena. Again only Attina seemed old enough to fully grasp how and why their mother was never coming back but it was soon apparent to all the girls and Atlantica as a whole. Worse, it was like they lost their father too, Triton closed himself off and the girls gained a governess, Marina Del Rey. Andrina instantly didn't like her and muttered some comment to Aquata about her hair. To Marina instantly turning a stern look her way whether she caught the words or not.
In the early days, Andrina held out a hope of Triton being someone who could straighten their governess out when the girl or her sisters disagreed with her choices and decrees (which was often) but this was quickly shown to not be the case, Triton often deferring to Marina's judgement and, as it felt to the girls, with them almost given over to her so they wouldn't bother their father.
All this beginning and music faded within Andrina's memory too and she mostly recalled the boring monotony of waking early and structured days. Of them all, Ariel was the most vocal (as in actually questioning Marina or their father rather than muttering about it) and seemed to try to effect a change, but still Andrina didn't dare to hope for much until one day when her younger sister's coral bed was empty and, when she did return, she hummed to herself! Not quite a breaking of the "no music" rule, but suspicious all the same and Andrina was quick onto the trail of it being "a boy". Wrongly, it turned out much cooler. An underground music club!
Andrina encouraged Ariel to show her where it was same as most all her other sisters, but for Attina, who had to be the Responsible Eldest, and even she came around. It was the first real fun that wasn't just watching Aquata and Arista argue; but unfortunately it wasn't to last. Marina found out and told on them (to ruin Sebastian but the girls didn't know this) and things went stricter. Andrina, along with the others, agreed it was over, good run as it had been.
But of course Ariel didn't give up. It turned out a good thing this time, though it required her little sister running away and being threatened by their governess who was suppose to protect them. Still Marina got jailed and music and happiness came back to Atlantica.
Only Ariel, Andrina commented mentally.
Things lightened up and Andrina joined in with her sisters in singing for the mer-people of Atlantica under Court Composer Sebastian's direction. Ariel just behind her to join but her sister skipped out again since, much as she loved to sing, Ariel seemed to have picked up another fascination now that music was back. Human things.
Like the others Andrina didn't guess how far it went in that she fell for a human, though this time she was on the right track of Ariel being in love when she went all loopy and dodgy again.
As with many of Ariel's antics, she changed things in Atlantica but this time Andrina gained a human brother-in-law. The blonde for the most part didn't judge (well maybe a few lovingly teasing comments were made) and remained happy for her sister though.
Ambitions: Have fun, especially ever since helping Ariel bring fun and music back to Atlantica (in her own small way along with her other sisters). Explore this "safe" part of land and now that she can. Also find a way back home.
Strengths & abilities: In the water, Andrina is a fast swimmer able to dodge sharks and the likes, though, she hardly has as much call as her only younger sister, Ariel, to do such, not prone to getting into quite as many escapades as her. The mermaid half expected this to transfer to running ability on land, but probably due to experience helping the former, she's only moderately fast against other humans, not that she cares much. One thing she would count her chief skill and ability is her dry, snappy wit, which helps her make it through situations and a lifetime (it felt like) of boredom. Sings well like all her sisters. Also a fair dancer.
Flaws: Her sarcasm could perhaps be seen as that depending on who you are. For all the half-bravado her acting confident brings, she can be unsure if she gets herself in over her head. Not as outgoing and spunky as Ariel, on into sort of compliant along with the rest of her sisters and, let's face it if things had been left to her she'd have let Atlantica go on as it always had along with her sisters.
Likes: Her family. Swimming. Sports. Music. Using her wit. Fun. Adventure of a moderate sort.
Dislikes: Sharks. Ursula. Marina Del Rey. Boredom. Getting up early.
Fears: Afore mentioned sharks and Ursula. Change, but not in too hindering a way. Harm coming to her father or sisters.
