Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's Fantom Stranger, and I wished upon a star from the internet?. My other imaginary friends include Scar, LeFou, Linguini, & Wiggins. Pleakley and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: Agent Pleakley
Age: mid-thirties, or the equivalent in alien years
Species: Plorgonarian (hope that's correct; I got it from the internet)
Birthplace: Ythe planet Plorgonar
Movie: Lilo & Stitch
Custom title: The Earth Expert
Why'd you pick this character? Well, the fact that so many L&S characters are here made Pleakley too tempting to resist
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: None. Pleakley is completely hairless.
Facial description/mood/expressions: Pleakley's green face is quite unusual. He has one very large round eye, no nose at all, and a wide mouth with two tongues. His expressions are generally extreme: panic rather than anxiety, euphoria rather than mere happiness.
Clothing style: A bit of a clothes horse, his attire is very important to Pleakley. He loves his official uniform with its snazzy epaulettes and brass buttons. But he also knows the importance of blending in on Earth, so he more often wears typical native costume. You can bet that costume will be spiffy and stylish, though.
Body build: Pleakley's alien body is long, lean and flexible, as are his rubber-hose arms. He has three fingers on each hand and three somewhat stubby legs, which makes it tough to find Earth pants to fit him. He's kind of a weakling.
Any unique traits (optional): His voice is squeaky and unpleasant. And he has a single antenna and dark green stripes on the back of his head.
Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality:
Pleakley loves all things Earth-related. Unfortunately, he has a lot of misinformation about his adopted home world. He can be a bit of a know-it-all, hating to admit he's wrong.
Emotionally, he's all about extremes, and can go from joy to depression and back again pretty quickly. Whatever he's feeling, he feels it in spades and is not at all good at hiding it.
Agent Pleakley tends to be fussy. He likes things orderly and gets anxious when they are not, though he's more than willing to tackle the job of making it right. He has a lot of confidence in himself, more than his abilities warrant.
Pleakley loves to look good. He spends way too much energy on his clothes and appearance (and admiring himself in the mirror). He is fascinated by hair, as he has none.
He is kind-hearted for the most part and can empathize with beings in trouble. Pleakley is genuinely fond of his new Earth "family."
History:
As a child, Pleakley was an overachiever. He tried everything once, and always with great enthusiasm. But that wasn't enough to make him competent.
As a young man, he struggled with finding his niche, something he could excel at to earn the respect of his peers. When he happened upon an old used book about a distant planet called "Earth," his interest was piqued. Which was nothing new; he was always trying new things.
But the more he dug, the more he found that very little was known about the planet. In fact, most astronomers considered it unworthy of their time to study that unimportant little speck. Why, the inhabitants didn't even have interstellar travel! It had only been visited once, and that had been pretty uneventful.
This was just the thing Pleakley had been searching for: a field of study in which he could be the expert, since no one else would be competing with him in that department.
He threw himself into a study of the distant planet, learning everything he could and, characteristically, making a lot of assumptions. But nobody contradicted him, so he started to earn himself a reputation, enough to land a job with the Galactic Alliance as their resident Earth Expert.
When he was tagged for an expedition to Earth, Pleakley learned that feild study was a lot different than theories and book-learning. Especially when your partner is an evil scientist. The mission was disastrous enough, but when Capt. Gantu arrived to take over, things got completely out of Pleakley's control. And though everything ended well, it was no thanks to him.
The Grand Councilwoman understood this as well as Pleakley's general incompetence, and banished him to Earth for the foreseeable future. Of course, Pleakley thinks it's just his next mission and is content to remain on Earth studying its culture.
