The military general wearing his Arendelle uniform with his sword sheathed was leading the way with a grand smile across his thick lips. He liked teasing the woman ever since he met her all those years ago. "Halima, you'll never guess where I'm taking you! Wait until you see-!" His jovial facial expression instantly tugged down to an expression of shock as soon as he turned his head to glance in front of him, his widened brown eyes gaping at the bewildering sight of trees in front of him.
A forest?
But how did he wind up by the forest again?! "Oh my goodness!" A hand fled to his parted mouth in shock. General Mattias was almost dreading the look Halima was giving him as he shifted his eyes off to the side sheepishly. "I'm uh..normally not one to lose my-" With a nervous chuckle, he was now sounding very awkward as he tried to reassure Halima that he had a lot better sense of direction than this! The very last thing he'd ever want to do was go back to the forest.
"Wha-?! Halima?!" As soon as Destin Mattias ventured to glance back at her, he instantly turned full circle upon realizing that she was no where to be found! "No, no, no..!" He murmured to himself with his hand by his lips, glimpsing around at the entire forest that he found himself suddenly surrounded by. His Arendellian shield was found by the tree next to him, as if he had been here in the forest the entire time. No, it couldn't have been a dream! ...Could it? Was he still at the enchanted forest the whole time?!
Be prepared.
General Mattias reminded himself of his father's words about Life's unexpected turns and he nodded solemnly. Picking up his Arendellian shield, he unsheathed his sword as he turned to call attention to his men that he expected to be nearby. "Soldiers! Fall in! Back in formation!" He commanded loudly to his men, knowing that they would know fully well to do this quickly by the solemnity of his voice. He may have dreamed about Halima and the hope of seeing all of Arendelle again, but that did not mean that they didn't have to keep a sharp eye for danger.
After a few minutes, however, his men did not show up!
A pause, and a shifting of the tall soldier's eyes occurred. "..Am..I.. the only one here?" The military general added softer with bewilderment tinged in his voice, but kept his guard up as he began surveying the forest to better understand his situation.
