Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's Linda, and I wished upon a star from Your Admin. My other imaginary friends include oh, man, too many to list. Fred! and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: Frederick Flamarion Frederickson IV, aka Fred (I always wanted to have an "aka")
Age: college age, 19-21
Species: human
Birthplace: San Fransokyo, USA
Movie: Big Hero 6!!
Custom title: Second-Generation Super-Hero
Why'd you pick this character? Fred has been begging me to take him for some time now, and I can't fight it any more. I totally get his geek thing.
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section
Hair description: Fred can't really be said to have a hair style. He just kind of lets it go its own way. It hangs down to his collar whichever way the wind blows. Normally, he wears a knit beanie-style hat. For formal occasions, he might slick the whole thing back, but that's not the norm. His hair is brown.
Facial description/mood/expressions: Fred has a long face with a slightly large nose. He is usually cheerful, gazing at the world with wonder and excitement. Though some things puzzle him, there isn't much that can make him mad.
Clothing style: Again, 'style' is a strong word. Fred doesn't care much about clothes, and he likes to be comfortable, so loose, slightly baggy is his go-to look. He may be seen wearing fan-boy gear, like cartoon tees, usually with shorts. Fred normally wears a charm on a chain, a genuine replica of a Kentucky Kaiju tooth, his favorite collectible. Cool!
In his super-hero guise, Fred wears a bulky battlesuit, mostly blue, in the lizard-like shape of a Japanese anime creature. It sports 3 gigantic yellow eyes, a circular mouth with 4 fangs, claw-like hands, and a tail. Hiro sometimes makes upgrades which can change the look of Fred's costume.
Body build: Average height, slim, but not too skinny. Fred doesn't work out (too boring), but he gets plenty of exercise super-heroing. Plus his natural high-energy state helps to burn off a lot of those calories. Which is good, because he doesn't do the healthy thing.
Any unique traits (optional): Mmmm...gonna say 'no' on that one.
Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality:
Fred is a nice, friendly guy. He's nearly always in an upbeat mood, even when thwarted in something. He rarely gives up. He is always ready and willing to help a friend, though his help might not be what they were hoping for. He is devoted to stopping crime and criminals and helping civilians.
Fred acts like a child in many ways. Not spoiled or bratty; but his tastes are definitely juvenile. He concentrates on the fun aspects of everything, assuming he can find some fun aspects. He enjoys play unashamedly. In fact, he's almost never embarrassed about his choices, even though most people look at them as strange.
Fred is smarter than he seems. He remembers everything about things he wants to remember, like movie trivia or internet memes. If he'd applied himself to some study, any study, he would've done well. Though not the genius level of his compadres, Fred could've even made a decent scientist. But that would require years of boring study. Now if he could've jumped right to the shrink ray or invisibility potion, things would've been different.
Fred throws himself into things he likes wholeheartedly. In fact, he often has a one-track mind, reluctant to let go of a pet project or cool idea. When it comes to the mundane, however, he is easily distracted, his mind allured by cooler things.
One thing he is not is a jokester. Whatever he says, no matter how bizarre, he says in deadly earnest with absolute sincerity.
Fred believes that life is a comic book. Or if it isn't, it should be, and he behaves accordingly. He rarely worries about anything; don't the good guys always win in the end?
History:
Fred was born in San Fransokyo in a world parallel to our own, into a very wealthy family. An only child, he grew up getting pretty much anything he wanted (except for a pet; his mom was allergic). His parents were always very busy, but not neglectful. In fact, they doted on their child, maybe too much. Young Fred spent most of his time playing alone, though he did have friends once he started school. He attended an ordinary school and got ordinary grades, preferring to think about recess and the great time they'd having playing with action figures than studying and paying attention.
As he progressed to Middle School, many of his friends started to drift away. They began thinking more about other, less geeky pursuits, like sports, and after-school jobs, and dating. Fred was still playing with action figures. By High School, only the geekiest would spend time with Fred, and he was cast more and more on his own. Which he didn't really mind, as he was having too much fun. Fred could have gone to college, but he simply wasn't interested, and his parents didn't force him. They knew some day he would take over as head of their business empire, but that day was a long way off yet.
Around this time, Fred began to think that modern science was finally catching up to comic books. It became his obsession to find a scientist who would build him a battlesuit so he could become what he'd always fantasized about: a super-hero. He turned to the students of SFIT, a prestigious university known for turning out the cream of the crop where science was concerned. His parents donated an insane amount of money to the school, securing Fred the position of school mascot, whose lizard costume suited him fine. There he made friends with a group of genius-level students. Sadly, he could never convince them to build him a battlesuit. But they all got along well together, and it gave Fred stuff to do.
When tragedy struck and one of their number, Tadashi Hamada, was killed, Fred became acquainted with Tadashi's little brother Hiro. Hiro's accidental discovery of the super-villain Yokai, operating with Hiro's own stolen tech, led the boy to create super gear to transform himself and his chums into Big Hero 6, a bona fide super team. Fred was so moved, he wept. He was a real super-hero at last. And part of a super team. He wanted nothing more in life.
Big Hero 6 succeeded in bringing Yokai to justice, and along the way Fred made a shocking discovery: his own father was really Boss Awesome, a San Fransokyo super-hero who had retired some years prior. With his Dad's blessing, Fred continues to fight crime as Fredzilla and hang with his buds as, well, as Fred. And today he embarks on a new adventure: Walt Disney World!
Ambitions:
Fred's only ambitions are related to super-heroing and collecting. He wants to keep on fighting crime, experiencing every trop and meme he's been reading about all his life. He also wants to keep expanding his collection with new geeky goodies. And to get a pet. A furry one.
Strengths & abilities:
As Fredzilla, he can super-jump and breathe fire. The suit also offers some padding and protection when he takes a hit.
As Fred, let's see...he's rich and generous with it, not really thinking about or caring about money much. He's almost fearless in the face of danger, having too much of a good time to worry. He's optimistic; he'll go all out for his friends, and even for casual acquaintances. He can draw pretty well, at about the level of a talented middle-schooler. And if it ever happened in a movie or comic book Fred knows about it; his knowledge of pop culture and internet trends is prodigious.
Flaws:
He is easily distracted.
He's careless about his secret identity, calling friends by their names in battle and popping his head out of his battlesuit at the drop of a hat, trusting the trope that civilians can't penetrate a super-hero's secret identity.
His extreme geekines can be hard to take (read: annoying) for the uninitiated. He looks at life as though it was a comic book plot, which leads to some bad choices and mistakes. And more annoyance.
Fred has a habit of narrating his life out loud, making it sound like the story he sees himself starring in. Yeah, annoying...

Plus, Fred likes fast food, theme songs, cartoons, video games, people in general, internet videos, science (though he doesn't DO science), cool gizmos and tech, pets, victory dances, theme parks, and making up names for things. In fact, he's the one who gave the members of Big Hero 6 their nicknames.
Dislikes:
There aren't many things Fred actively dislikes. Except for boredom, maybe. And cilantro (yuck!)
Fears:
Fred's only real fear is spiders (!) Even in the face of danger, he's generally too focused on the excitement to be really afraid. Except of spiders (!)
Anything to add?:
I'm incorporating stuff from the TV series, which is really good. But I'm giving Fred only his original suit, so don't worry if you haven't seen the show. If needed, I'll come up with a way for him to find his later suits somewhere.
