Who am I? Just a conscience!
Introduce yourself
Hey, howdy, hey! The name's CHRIS, and I wished upon a star from Been here before!. My other characters include N/A. DAVID XANATOS and I are so very eager to join the Worlds of Disney circle of life!
Character basics
Character name: David Xanatos
Age: 40
Species: Human
Birthplace: Bar Harbor, Maine
Movie: Gargoyles
Custom title: Revenge is a sucker's game.
Why'd you pick this character? Xanatos is one of the most unique antagonists in all of cartoons: he rarely takes things personally, is a great admirer of his enemies' qualities, and is often willing to take a loss to advance a larger goal. To plop him in the middle here would be a fascinating neutral force, I think.
Character appearance (try to get at least 2 or 3 sentences for each section)
Hair description: Xanatos has dark brown hair. He ties it in a ponytail most of the time.
Facial description/mood/expressions: Seemingly chiseled out of stone, Xanatos' granite-like face and stylish beard make him look like a Greek hero of old. While he is certainly capable of broader emotions, his general manner is friendly and unperturbed, which extends to his face. Though this can shift to more determined, self-satisfied, or angry expressions as the situation permits.
Clothing style: He primarily dresses in impeccably tailored suits. If he is training in martial arts, he will wear a gi, as well as wearing appropriate clothing under his gargoyle armor
Body build: He is tall and broad-shouldered. His muscles are more tight and lean than bulky, though.

Original character analysis (In your own words and please be thorough)
Personality:
All that matters in life is getting what you want, what you need, in the most expedient, hassle-free way possible. That's basically David Xanatos' philosophy in a nutshell. Not that he's not a hard worker (he is), intelligent (he very much is), or won't occasionally take things personally. But everything about revenge or violence that verges on unnecessary....it's simply not pragmatic or worth the trouble it brings much of the time. As such, Xanatos is rather cool-headed a force; he won't take direct action against those who have wronged him unless he sees a benefit in it or if it's practical to do so. He sees enemies more as resources he can exploit and even admires qualities in many of them. And he prepares for everything; often, if it has appeared he has lost a conflict, he has another plan waiting in the wings that either substitutes for his loss or even takes advantage of it.
This is not to say the man is completely cold and clinical. He has a generally affable demeanor that's not even an act most of the time. He has a dark, mischievous sense of humor, often expressing it in the form of barbs or one-liners that get under people's skins. And he is genuinely in love with his wife, Fox (a fact that actually surprised him when he figured it out), and their son Alexander, and he will do anything to defend him. His morals are just a little...loose and malleable at the end of the day. The world is his for the taking. Why shouldn't he?
History:
Growing up in Bar Harbor, Maine as the son of a struggling fisherman wasn't an auspicious beginning for David Xanatos. Yet at the age of 20, his life changed forever when a mysterious stranger sent him a rare coin from the 10th century. Xanatos sold this coin for $20,000, marking the beginning of his ascent in the world of business. His father, Petros Xanatos, never approved of such things, and their relationship only worsened when David's mother died.
Later on, Xanatos became an employee of Halcyon Renard at Cyberbiotics, and ended up charming two of the old man's most valued employees, Dr. Anton Sevarius and Owen Burnett, to come and work for him. This was also the point where he met Renard's daughter, Janine, who would later change her name to "Fox". Soon after breaking away from Renard, Owen revealed his true nature to Xanatos as the mischievous shapeshifter Puck, and made him an offer: one wish from Puck, or a lifetime of loyal, efficient servitude from Owen. Xanatos unexpectedly chose Owen, and the two began to truly build an empire.
Eventually, Xanatos met the so-called "Gargoyle Queen" Demona, as well as coming into the possession of the mystical book known as the Grimorum Arcanorum. In the early 1990s, the two conspired to awaken the clan of Castle Wyvern after learning of the spell that cursed them with eternal stone sleep until "the castle rises above the clouds".
At great expense, Xanatos transported Castle Wyvern to the top of the Eyrie Building, a skyscraper he owned in Manhattan. Against all odds, it worked: the spell broke, and the gargoyles awakened after sleeping for 1,000 years. Xanatos quickly manipulated the gargoyles into stealing data disks from Cyberbiotics, although the deception was eventually uncovered thanks to the help of a police detective named Elisa Maza. After a fierce battle with Xanatos, Demona and the "Steel Clan" gargoyle robots, Xanatos was arrested for possessing the stolen Cyberbiotics disks.
After a few months in jail, Xanatos returned home to the Eyrie Building, the gargoyles having vacated to a new home in the clock tower above the police department where Elisa worked. He began scheming anew to create gargoyles of his own, such as a new Steel Clan (as well as a battlesuit for his own personal use), creating the hybrid of technology and magic known as "Coldstone" with the help of Demona, and creating the Mutates with Dr. Anton Sevarius and his skill with genetic engineering.
Things perhaps truly began to change for Xanatos when he unwisely gave the Eye of Odin, an artifact he had previously acquired, to Fox after proposing marriage to her (he had managed to get her out of jail through an earlier scheme after she had taken a hostage during an encounter with the Manhattan clan). It turned out that the Eye truly had mystical powers, and was transforming Fox into a werewolf on a nightly basis. After trying to get the Eye away from her through several different methods of force, Xanatos had no choice: he had to ask Goliath for help. While the gargoyle leader initially refused, he agreed after realizing the public safety hazard Fox presented and that perhaps there was hope for the world if Xanatos truly had fallen in love. They worked together and successfully saved Fox, parting as not-quite enemies.
Xanatos' next scheme with Demona would be their last collaboration. She claimed to have a spell that would steal one minute of life from everyone in Manhattan and give it to Xanatos so he could become immortal. She had lied; the spell actually turned the islanders into stone like gargoyles, only the humans transformed at night. After realizing the double-cross, Xanatos again teamed up with Goliath to stop her by setting the sky on fire through a complex scheme. It was here that Xanatos finally admitted why he hadn't just killed the gargoyles: they came in handy now and again.
The next major development in the relationship between Xanatos and Goliath's clan came when Xanatos and Fox's son Alexander was born. It turned out that Anastasia, Fox's mother, was actually Titania, queen of the Fair Folk and wife of Oberon. The latter came to Manhattan to take Alexander back to the island of Avalon to receive magical training. Of course, Xanatos had other ideas about this, and essentially began a war to fight off Oberon.
When Goliath learned of the battle, he reluctantly agreed to help; he may not like Xanatos, but stealing another man's child was utterly abhorrent to the gargoyle. Eventually, after the battle came to a close and Fox blasted Oberon with an instinctive bolt of magic, Goliath convinced the king to let Alex remain with his parents. Let Puck, whose disguise had been discovered, teach the boy. And so once more Xanatos parted on relatively good terms with the gargoyles.
The feud finally came to a sort-of end when Xanatos came to the clan's rescue during the Hunter's Moon incident. He restored them to their rightful home at Castle Wyvern and now serves as their host. Of course, that's not going to stop him from drawing them into his schemes now and again; what fun would that be?
Ambitions:
His primary goal these days is to secure immortality for himself and his family; failing that, he will accumulate as much power and influence as he can otherwise. He is also currently a member of the Illuminati and hopes to gain much from that association.
Strengths & abilities:
Xanatos is an immensely skilled martial artist, as well as a brilliant technical mind with programming. He can improvise on the fly, and his charisma is off the charts in getting people to go along with plans. His money can often buy him the best of both (although in these circumstances he won't have much of that). He can also perform mortal spells in Latin if they are available. He is also skilled in the use of firearms, and he can pick up most weapons and learn how to use them quickly if not expertly. His main weapon of choice during his battles with the clan and others was a mechanical exosuit of his own design made to resemble a gargoyle with enhanced strength, flight, and laser cannons.
Flaws:
If anything, he's a little *too* quick to concede defeat at times. His proclivity towards long-term planning can leave him in the lurch if a more decisive, short-term solution is necessary. And his charms can fail if his enemies are aware of his duplicitous nature.
Likes:
ox, Alexander, Owen/Puck, the clan (these days at least)
Dislikes:
Demona, Thailog, the Quarrymen, the Pack (sans Dingo)
Fears:
Aging, death, harm coming to his loved ones.

PAST TENSE ONLY. MUST BE ABOUT THE CHARACTER FOR WHOM YOU ARE APPLYING.
“Hmm….”
Xanatos handed the ‘smartphone’ back to the tourist he’d requested its usage from. “Thank you, that’s all I’ll need for now.”
The man went his way, offering a welcome, and Xanatos stroked his beard in deep thought.
It had been a day like any other, truthfully. A sparring session with Owen here, a business meeting there, and a bit of time with his son. All while several schemes battled for his attention.
He’d kept his promise to the gargoyles that they would not be harmed in their castle, and he aimed to keep it. He was unusual among those in his world in that he would honor an agreement unless given solid reason to break it.
That didn’t mean he was averse to bending it, of course. After all, if they happened to come to harm as a byproduct of one of his plans outside the castle, it was on them for interfering. As it always had been.
But he’d suddenly found himself stranded, without any warning, in Disney World of all places. And not the kind he had encountered before.
“A lot’s changed since the last time I tried to buy them…”
