The time when white rain (or snow, as it was actually called) came down was here again. Mowgli had a bad experience with snow the last time it happened, for he didn’t have any proper clothes or proper shelter to keep him warm during weather like this. Fortunately for him, he was offered by Wart to stay in the suite that the latter was living in until the weather changed and became warm, and boy, did the man-cub make the right choice to stay in that suite during during such freezing weather. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t survive; he wouldn’t be able to move, he wouldn’t be able to breathe, and he wouldn’t be able to still live.
This time, he had proper shelter that he could actually call home, and he was sharing it with Antonio and the latter human boy’s animal companions, Parce, Pico, and Chispi. He was also sharing it with Boots and would’ve shared it with Scamp if that young gray canine hadn’t disappeared from the park and ended up back to his place and time not long after he accepted to live with them at that place. During the time the Indian jungle boy was living with Antonio and the animals, he gradually learned more about the things humans would use everyday, and he would learn to appreciate these things even more than he ever had, for many of these things, whether he liked any of them or not, were necessary for his survival. Some of these things were clothes.
Today, for the very first time in his life, the feral human boy was wearing more clothes than just his loincloth, and he was wearing each piece of clothing the way it was meant to be worn. He didn’t feel too good about wearing more than what he was used to, but they were keeping him warm and safe while he was out in the snow, and that was just fine with him. What he was wearing, exactly, were a shirt, a sweater, a pair of joggers, a pair of crocs, a pair of socks, a puffy hat, and a coat. Most of these pieces of clothing had funny-looking animals doing things in the snow on them.
Now that Mowgli was dressed properly for the cold weather, he started walking around in the area in these clothes. With these clothes on, he found it much easier to walk around in the snow than he had before. He found that the way he moved was limited with these clothes on. The Indian jungle boy knew that wearing actual clothes, especially ones like these, would take some time getting used to, but he was glad that they were keeping him warm while he was out in the snow.
