title: The Diamond in the Rough
why: why'd you pick this character? I picked this character because when I was little I looked up to Aladdin with such admiration. I have always wanted to be just like him in the since that he is brave and has a heart of gold even though he has nothing to give anyone else. I also feel a connection between him and my self that we have had to overcome status labels set on us by society that limits the roads we can take. I have always believed through him that if I just be who I am, I could gain so much more than I would wearing the best clothes or own the best things. I have also been taught by him that wearing a mask does not get you true friends.

RP SAMPLE: ----
Avaya shut her eyes but that did not save her from the light that stung her eyes. She felt weightless. She opened them again to clouds. There she saw the one person she wanted to see, her master, her father.
She ran up to him with a smile on her face. He reached out to her with open arms as she ran into them. He hugged her and lifted her up and swung her around like he did when she was a child. Hello Vay-vay! his voice boomed, I have missed you so much my child. I was told you have been going through some crazy things lately. I heard you lost your soul?
She knodded as her put her down. he sank to be eye level with her. I was also told that I was able to give you mine... he continued.
He reached into his chest. pulled out a beautiful Lotus flower, and handed it to her. She held it close and it soon became apart of her. She breathed more easily than she had in a long time. Go my little Vay-vay, he said hugging her close and kissing the top of her head, and know that I will always love you..
She closed her eyes and opened them. She was back in her own body, and she had a soul, her father's. The father's gift to her from the tree.
